It's finally done. Most preparations are finished, and Yayap helped me with the game accounts. Night chat is ready as well. Now, the curtains rise to the next thrilling game - Nasty Rumours!

The game setting will be in a place called Treasure Town. Look closer to the image below!

In the Treasure Town, there are many different rumors moving around. Some say that there is a war between two guilds. Others think that there is a single, strong, poweful Dark Guild that is preparing to whittle away everyone who opposes then. The third rumor is about a group of rebels who is trying to arouse ordinary citizens in their ranks in preparation for uprising. There is also a rumor that Electro Maniac is hiding in Treasure Town. Others think that there is a Mass Murderer in town. There are just SO many rumors running around, so that it's hard to differentiate truth from lies!

One rumor is certainly true though: The Dark Guild is in Treasure Town, hiding amongst then, and they won't stop attacking until they dominate Treasure Town completely. Now the townsfolk are trying to gather in the central square in order to stop those hidden threats.

And so, the sign-ups are now open! Sign-ups will be semi-anonymous, which means that you can sign up either here or by sending PM to me. All sign-ups are acceptable, however signing up us does not guarantee a spot. Instead, I will first check your recent activity from FM Players Database, then use random.org to decide who joins the game and who stays in reserves. Although this is a game for 20 players, I'll accept up to 25 sign-ups before the game starts to keep the fresh number of reserves.

Currently all necessary 25 players have signed up. The game is expected to start on Saturday, December 1st.

I also accept observers in the game. Be aware that once you start observing, you will be unable to join the game once it starts, as you will immediately receive the complete list of players's roles and identities. You can switch into obersver mode if you were left on reserve after the game begins.

Observing the game is going to be just as interesting as playing it, at least for the first few days. Dead players will also join the observer chat as well.

Oh yeah, I have just noticed that, but after seeing the Forum Mafia archives I found out that Five-Sided Town (merged thread) had over 50000 views - more than any other M-FM, and even now that game is still holding that record of views. Even though I made it out of regular schedule.

While Nasty Rumors is a different game, I also expect to see a large number of view count after it ends. After all, the Pokemon will be in this game. Some of then are cunning, others are straightforward, but some of then will be also simply cute.

The game will start tomorrow on Saturday, that's for sure. When you wake up, you'll find youself in a different world.

On tomorrow, all of you will receive access to M-FM accounts, along with role cards. Each account will have an active avatar (though you can also change your avatar at will).

Only 2 last slots left! And don't forget that even after the game begins, you can still sign up to be in reserves or just to observe the game.
