and VOILA Neutral Benign become OBVIOUS JESTER.


Zdarr tell me its not true because i only tell at game 'not giving me this role' and 'if jester is present give it to me'.

I say 'I tell at game, not give me this role, i prefer this!'


Zdarr tell me because Role are Random someone can become Survivor because Blacklist working only for me, is true, but with Prefer is get my JESTER.



P: I try this 5 times last night with neutral benign ingame = 5 times JESTER


I have already understand Prefer fixed Role = become this role. Prefer some role in Town Protective for example not give me a 100% to become but only because I never blacklist too before tonight.

What happends is : The game engine first randoms a role for neut. benign., unaffected by any blacklist or prefer from players. It has 25% chance becoming jester. If you blacklisted amne/surv/exe, and the neut benign is one of them, then you'll be town or mafia (or neut evil), and IF the neut benign is jester, then you have 90% chance of being the jester.

Also if you blacklist doc/escort/bg and prefer BD, it doesn't mean that one town protective will be BD just for you, it just mean that if there is a doc/escort/bg you won't be it, and if there is a BD you have a lot of chance to be this role.

I don't really care about math, but I have a feeling everyone does a -blacklist Doctor, regardless of points.

I've been a damn doctor 30-50% of all the games I've been in, it felt so sweet when I finaly could blacklist Doctor. But now I've reset my points on purpose I'm getting that frustration back.



Then again, 20K points needed to blacklist and rolequitting makes the role more common when I haven't quit a single game and stay afk on the end if I die...

Is 60% rolequitting usefull roles and stay to doctor? Bad math, but whatever.
It's usualy me becoming a doctor when there's a million other roles with equal chance to be.

Tonight I make some experiment with Town Protective.

Because I think 5 Jesters in a Row is low chance of lucky. But sometime not have time to Prefer, because for Prefer first need to see the setup and thinking what role is the best for me.

I have read some thread where someone thinking Prefer and Blacklist ruin the game, but its not true and when you reach 20.000+ points know the truth.

I have try to prefer Investigator for a lot of games, 2-3 nights only Investigator and the result is:

Smart Doc heal me or BG protect me and town win
Jailor jail me n1 and execute for thinking 'Consigliere or Evil Role' - 3 times in a row - 11 times in total
Vigilante shoot me n2 - 2 times in total
Doc and BG ignore me and random heal mafia and die at night 1 for double attack or also triple attack - a lot of times

And not forget this now working with Neutral Evil MM because Doc and BG obvious die if they target me Not forget about Consort or Witch, so a lot of things can go bad with this, so not thinking PREFER ROLE = Instant WIN ALL the Game because its not TRUE


And I am sure also when more people can PREFER is the same result, because someone can lie or always problem with Consort,Witch etcetc.

P.S: Put Zdarr or Emperor in your name, add 0.0015% of become Double Jesters, if Vigi get suicided, Jester shoot someone with the Gun

Sir, can you work on your grammar. I could not understand half of that. Also if I'm correct, if a Witch targets an MM who is targeting himself and the Witch makes him target someone else, then I do no believe the Witch will die, as once I was a MM, and I targeted myself, yet that night I was still roleblocked, so as MM, Witch and Consorts/Escorts still need to be feared. Also if I'm correct, if you're MM and BG protects you he will fight you, I'm not sure about that and it might just be if MM visits 5, Sheriff visits 5, 5 who is cit with no vest stays home, and BG visits 5 then only the BG and MM die-unless one was healed-. I am not sure if it is the samething if the BG visits an MM who targets himself. So if I'm correct remove BG from the list of roles that you want to visit you.

One last thing, -prefer only GUARANTEES a win is if you pick an obv to win role, like if its 14 sheriffs and 1 sk and you -prefer sheriff, thats obv. Otherwise you might -prefer SK, and you get caught N1 either way and you get lynched, not a guaranteed win. Check logic next time, as I lost over half my IQ reading your post.

Anyways, blacklisting increases the likelihood you won't get a certain role, while preferring increases the likelihood you will get a certain role.

Some ppl whine about Prefer because thinking 'Prefer Role = Instant Win'.

This is not true. If I Prefer Investigator and townies not protect me = Instant Loss. If townies trust my name and working with me = WIN for Town.

But this strategy not working in all games because:

1) Townies maybe not trust me and let me die Night 1
2) Jailor Jail Me and Execute Night 1 or get attacked in Jail, No Maf Kill, Jailor rejail me and exec Night 2
3) Mafia Consort RB ME
4) Neutral Evil Witch can manipolate me all nights.

and the most bad is

5) MM target ME and autokill doctor, BG and lookout try to protect me.

The clue for try to win all games is

1) Get more lucky
2) Teamwork with your faction
3) Choice the Faction with more chance to win.
3b) setup in 11? prob Mafia win, so Choice Mafia



Now go for Scenario Alternative.


ME, Zdarr and Darking can Prefer Role = Instant WIN? NOPE.

Same story, Zeratul the Investigator, Zdarr the Bodyguard and Darking use random name.

Zdarr can protect me, Darking heal Zdarr and revive him if BG can be healed.

But Escort,Consort can block Zdarr and Maf Kill me, Witch can manipolate me or Zdarr and I die or Darking unlucky die early, no more doctor, Zdarr die and then I die.
