    New Spy Ability!!!

    As a spy, there will be times when the maf will call out people to kill. I believe there should be an ability of about, 1-2 (or more depending on setup) uses. The ability, is a 'pull out' sorta thing.

    Though it may not happen alot, but if you hear them talking about killing you that night, you can press a button to leave the town till morning, and you gain nothing but what you heard. Maybe have a switch to know if you were actually attacked when you arrive back home?

    I dont know, but I think if a spy overhears the mafia saying they are going to kill him, I dont think logically the spy would just, wait for them at his house lmao.

    Maybe a bit of a buffed bp vest... but, tell me what you guys think.

    I think two uses are perfect and would add just ALITTLE more depth and useful-ness into the role.

    he already has 4, firstly

    and secondly the spy with "can hear PMs" on can be confirmed town and should be unlynchable by the town. He already has "day immunity" when town has a majority, why night immunity too?

    Maybe just implement an 'option' for this then. Cuz I dont use PM's in my hosted games. Also, I usually play in pubs so the spy usually dies lmao.

    but in all seriousness, the mafia usually tries to mis-inform the spy by using random names. This happens ALOT. So most of the information he receives, most likely amounts to nothing but who they killed.

    There are so many flaws with your four...
    I can only count one of them, which was "can hear PMs."
    Day immunity doesn't make sense at all. Just because the town has majority, that doesn't mean he has day immunity.
    Where's the other two?

    Overall, I like this suggestion PercMastaFTW. It makes complete logcial sense, but if Mafia and SKs can kill victims in jail cells, I'm pretty sure the community will come up with reasons why they shouldn't let the spy have this ability.

    lmao hell yea dude!

    I mean, the mafia, at most times, dont tell the other maf who to kill. And it would be extremely rare if they used YOUR name in the same night they kill you. I dont think this ability would be that game-changing, honestly.

    and if you reveal as spy, they just be 'SPY YOURE DEAD TONIGHT' lmfao. cant do much about it haha

    EDIT: Also, maybe you will have 2 or so uses of the ability, but once the mafia attacks you and finds out youve left the town (no matter how many uses you have left?), they next time they attack you, they will look everywhere for you and you will be killed ? Eh, depends what DR wants, and how he wants the mafia to find out he didnt die, etc.

    I actually think it's a fantastic idea The current options could be merged to accommodate.

    I think it should be something you can activate at night and comes into effect at the end like all other night abilities.

    The following day you can't speak. Can be used only once.

    Might make Citizen redundant thou

    Hmmm that idea of being silenced after leaving town is interesting... maybe cant vote either (both for balance?), but can talk if he goes up on trial? We'll see how everything plays out though lol.

    Would cause some confusion if someone was healed etc that day... kinda like a win-win situation, more towards town...

    If you've hosted, you know them.

    • Can hear PMs
    • Can hear Mafia at night
    • Can hear Masons at night
    • Can see who the mafia decides to kill


    They spy has "day immunity" in any game without trolls when town has a majority. All he has to say is " I can hear PMs, just try me" and the town should recognize immediately that only spies have this ability, making him unlynchable.

    The spy is a very strong role with all 4 options on. When there are masons in the game, the spy can confirm who those are as well. The reason I said having 4 abilities is a problem is because DR has already stated that to have more than 4 host options is going to take a huge rework of the map and he doesn't want to do that.

    This suggestion seems more borne out of the fear that people get when they know their death is coming without a doubt, not out of a concern for balance or an underpowered role.

    I don't see the point to making a town role immune at night. The spy is balanced as it is.
