Part 8 ending

..."Well, I decide to kill you" - Waldo said and started aiming, but suddenly Glip appeared behind the trooper and bashed him with hammer. Waldo lost his gun but was still in mind: Glip wasn't yet strong enough. Waldo shaked his head and took his knife in hand. "You tried to trick me? You did really try to trick me?! I'm the damn!.." *bang!* Roflcopter shot him with his gun. "Well, at least here is the use of it" - Roflcopter chuckled and replaced his empty gun with Waldo's one. "It has 5" - he said, inspecting the weapon.
"Guys, what do we do now?" - Ash said. - "We have no more cures in case of... any accident." "And seems like one of the accidents is right behind us!" - Glip pointed at the coridor, where the survivors came from: zombie horde heard the sounds of shots and moved crashing every door on its way. "Hurry!" -Damus commanded. - "We need to get to that shred, the sign on the wall says it's near!"

Look RP part in the beginning of the part. Waldo forced everyone to drop their weapons and gathered them in the corner while you wre lying "dying" on your place with hammer lying nearby)

Part 9. The Road so Far

The survivors were running through the halls. There were many turns on their way and hordes of zombies were coming from almost every of it. It was hard not to get in their scratched ugly hands, but they had to get to some safe place. They couldn't believe in what was happening. Just a few hours ago they were a simple group of scientists and now they had to fight for their lives!

Part 9 ending

"Hurry, guys!" - Damus shouted, checking all the sign on walls for the 3rd Shred orienteers. "We're almost there!" - Glip pointed at the big iron door in the end of the hall. "We must reach it as fast as we can!" - Roflcopter shouted. "Gaaargh!" - Fatalis screamed as one of the zombies fell from the ceiling and bit his neck. "Get it off! Get it off me!!!" Roflcopter shot the zombie. "Block the corridor!" - Damus commanded and started moving big heavy boxes.
"Alright, what now?" - Ash questioned looking at Fatalis. "W-We could, well, do the same thing as with Mugy, maybe?" - CmG suggested. "Yeah? And what, you gonna cut off his HEAD or something?" - Damus argued. - "God..." During this conversation creedkingsx inspected a few boxes and found a grenade. "We need to do something. If we can't save him, we must..." - Roflcopter said, but CmG interrupted: "We must end this. Rofl, give me the gun. How many bullets does it have?" "Four maybe." - Roflcopter answered. "What? Hell no! You're not doing this!" - Damus claimed. "I'm too tired of these endless runnings. This must be ended. You find the way in the shred and leave this goddamned place." - CmG said.
"Alright, it's the time to leave." - Ash said. - "The door energy is cut off, it can be opened without a password, but I had to use the axe. Everyone get in." And everyone walked inside. "creed? You ain't coming?" - Damus questioned. "I... I think this is over for me too. Good luck you all."
Once the door closed behind them, CmG, Fatalis and creedkingsx left outside waiting for crowds of flesh-eaters getting to them. "Open it." - CmG commanded, preparing the gun. creed moved one box away and suddenly five zombies appeared. CmG used shot one of them and creed used the axe and the walking stick to bash the others. Another group of walkers - another shot. And then again. And suddenly creed got bitten and screamed loudly. "Jesus," - Fatalis cried coughing cause of blooding neck. - "God, please, no! No! CmG, don~" *Bang!*. It was the last shot. Last whot... and a few moments later... a grenade explosion...

Part 10. No Time Left

The last survivors were blocked inside the mystic 3rd Shred. Strange, but there was completely noone... nothing inside it (meaning the zombies). There were just a lot of tubes with viruses and a computer with some scientific equipment connected to it. "Let's see what's there." - Damus_Graves suggested. The computer turned on and after checking it the Survivors realised that it had sattelite connection! "At last! We can communicate with the outter world so that they could save us!" - Roflcopter suggested. Everyone felt much more happy and hopeful. "No." - Damus said sadly. - "You do realise what will happen if somebody else tries to get in? What if the infection will get out of the complex and dominate the world? We can't take that risk." "So... What do you suggest?" - Ash asked. "I'd suggest we call a nuclear strike to blow the whole place up. This hell has to be destroyed." Everyone was silent, they had no words to discussm but all of them understood that there is no other choice. "I just thought" - Glip said. - "What is this virus mutates and survives the strike? We should get rid of it before we take any action." Everyone agreed. "Here." - Ash used the equipment near the computer. -"Maybe it will help." "Hm..." - Damus thought. - "This could work. Bring me the tube. Let's cut off the Hydra's main head!"

Well, to be honest, this test almost screwed the game, giving players opportunity to save even 2 of their lives seems fair enough for me. (btw, yes, first idea on num 5 answer was "The virus itself")

"It's done!" - Glip claimed loudly. - "The virus samples are destroyed! There will be no more victims!" Door scratching and dead noise sounded from outside. "Except those, of course." - Roflcopter added. "Alright, I've got access to the nuclear bomb." - Ash said. - "I can call a strike on us once you say."
"So..." - Damus said - "This is all over. Jesus, how many of us there were when we first came here: Rocshi, Fatalis, CmG, MintBerry Crunch, Mugy7, Auckmid, TimeTrx, Gzz... All of them are gone." "Yeah." - Glip agreed. Everyone went in one-minute silence...
"Push the button." - Damus said. Ash did it, and the red alarm started screaming through all the coridors, all the shreds, throughout the whole Complex. "Airstrike detected! Airstrike detected!" - it said. The last Survivors sat down near the computer looking at the countdown.
"Attention! Nuclear strike in 10 seconds!.. 5! 4! 3! 2!.. 1!......"

We had a hammer. According to L4D, that's all you really need to fight a zombie horde!

And of course Ash would be the one to hit the nuke button that gets us all killed. I can imagine him in the afterlife saying "U mad bro?". He probably yelled "PI...KA....CHUUUUU!" right as the nuke hit, too.

Epilogue.

Glip opened his eyes. His whole body was "burning" of pain and it really hurt for him to breathe. He was lying on the barrow. "Wha... Where am I?" - he tried talking through the face mask, and it was difficult. "You have been saved from the ruined Laboratory Complex. You were hiding inside a fortified shred that allowed you to survive the hell thing that happened there. But don't worry, you will be back on your feet in a couple of months. Have a rest." Glip was whole bandaged, but morphine helped him to fight the pain. But something was wrong. He felt something... itching in his arm. He looked at it. "Oh, miss" - he asked the nurse. - "Help me with my arm. It itches." She put off the bandage and looked at the arm. "Oh, it looks like an infection! Strange, when we first found you, the scratch on your hand was not so bad and we disinfected it. But don't worry. We have all we need here, in New-York General, to fix you."
"N-no... No... Not here... Too many people... I am-am infected! The tube... Hydra... You have to... k..." - Glip tried to talk but he was too weak and fell asleep...

So, Here is the ending of the Survival Quest #1! Thank you all for participating in it, every of you made this story good enough!

The real survivalist and a smart guy! He used the rule of solving the puzzle not each time, but with 1-part "cooldown"! That helped him to win this without losing ANY of his lives!
For that he deserves the signature picture as The SQ#1 Champion!

I don't know why, but I always looked at him as at the real leader! With brains! And bravery!.. And hammer!
The last Test thing was a real bad thing for him, despite that I think that he is a Leader!

To be honest, when I gave the gun to Roflcopter, I always tried to make him shoot one of the players. I told him that he can get rid of infected Mugy7, for example, but his thoughts were always in favor of the Group, not in mine. That means that he is a true-heart Judge!

He is aswell a good player, though he had the least number of lives in the end (Test thing again). I don't really know how to name him, so his reward-name will be same as when he signed - SURVIVALIST!
