Turning a video into your wallpaper!

So I watched this video

One of the comments was talking about how cool it would be to have it as a wallpaper.

I eventually found these instructions on how to do so.

Except VLC didn't have this feature, at all. After an hour of messing with the settings to no avail, I found out via a changelog that the feature was removed in version 2.0.0

After going through another trek just to find the darn thing...

I finally managed to install le epic wallpaper.

Why did I post this seemingly useless post?
To post-farm
So that anyone else interested would be able to have a much easier time setting any video as their wallpaper.
(It's totally worth it.)

EDIT: You can have the video with or without sound, using VLC.

EDIT 2: You can also have a playlist of videos, or loop one.
Along with that, this takes very little memory and processing power.

This makes sense, as VLC itself doesn't really conflict with any other programs, or multiple programs I'm running. Would make no difference full-screen in a window or full-screen background.

The good thing about a moving wallpaper is it further helps reduce screen-burn during AFK times.

After alot of downloading, I now have my youtube playlist as a wallpaper...
