I figured I would throw out my other idea for a role, this role sort of gives another reason to stay once you have died. I understand this may be hard to add to the game, but I figure if it could be done, it would be fun.

Role – Shaman
Neutral Evil
Alignment – None
Discipline – You feel for the dead and wish to grant them revenge one last time.
Abilities – Use the deads’ spirits to control a person.
~~~Key features of Shaman~~~
•You can talk to the dead at night. The dead, of course, cannot talk back. (Spy can hear shaman)
•When you target someone at night, a person who has died, aka their spirit, can control the target. The dead spirit does not know who he/she is controlling nor does the shaman know whose spirit he/she has summoned (shaman could possible figure it out through reasoning). After controlling a person, the spirit has achieved inner peace and passes on. (He/she cannot be summoned again)
•If the summoned spirit had left the game or does not select a target, the target will be random.
•Spirit can cause self-targets
~~~Key General Notes~~~
- (On/off) Can summon multiple spirits in one night, but shaman must then wait the next night before summoning again.
- Appears to investigator as “The target seeks justice. He/she could be a sheriff, executioner or shaman.”
- If the spirit targets the shaman, the target (will, will not) visit the shaman. If he/she does not then no action will be performed. (Shaman could have a spirit ward, to keep possessed people away)
- A counter will let shaman know how many spirits he/she has remaining. Every person killed, adds one to the counter, every target removes one.
Victory conditions – Game will only end when all killing roles have died. If all killing roles have died, Shaman wins with other winning factions.

I am unsure about the victory conditions, but I feel it fits with the Shaman's purpose. Also it technically allows shaman to win with any faction. Maybe not mafia since all mafia roles can become killers when alone.
The talking to dead is to either allow the shaman to let the dead know who they will be controlling or ploy them target someone, or to trick them. Also gives a little more meaning to the spy.
I am also unsure how the Shaman should appear to investigative roles. Justice seeker fits his description, but i doubt a Shaman would look to be a sheriff or exe.
Metagame would be affected, I think in a fun way. I mean it would be awesome for a dead person to get their revenge on a SK or something.
IF it would be impossible to get the dead to target someone, I would suggest just making Shaman cause random selections and making it so he/she can use as many spirits in a night without waiting.
