Role name: Drifter
Description: A Drifter passing through town in hopes of finding his new home.
Alignment: Neutral Benign.
Abilities: '-meet' someone at night, and get to know them. You talk to them like a Jailor, and learn their name.
Win Condition: Survive until the end, and have met with every living player. (More points the more players you get to know)
Host Options:
1) Must survive to win (Y)
2) Observes role type of those he meets (Y)
3) Role blocks those he meets (N)
4) Can only win with Town (Y)
Pros: A fun neutral benign with an unusual win condition. Pro-Town Neutrals are rare, basically non-existent yet.
Cons: Hard to win with, must predict those that are likely to live. Like Arsonist without the burn.
Overall effect on the metagame if implemented: Pro-Town out of the Neutral Benign is a new feature, Jester and Executioner being 'Benign', but mostly toxic. It adds a player into the town that is likely to defend those he has met with, and not worry about those he hasn't- this would cause players voting innocent on Mafias, or guilty on towns to be less confirm-able as villains. Prolongs game by defending some players, and quickens game by accepting lynchings of others. So it is a Pro-Town that it's very existence helps hide Scum. If set to have to win with Town he would need multiple nights to meet all the town, and so would want to find the Scum, but need to extend the game at the same time.
Additional comments: Seems fun, not knowing names and having a secondary goal and needs in terms of game length. Maybe some metagame effects to voting patterns and the like, but only if a Drifter was known to be in game.
Neutral Benign needs some stuffs, so here you go. :P
