    Casual Wars 2

Anyone playing this, if so what do you think?

I never played GW1 but I got talked into it a week or so ago and I'm enjoying runnin about on my Engineer torching nigs with a Flamethrower.

Seems to have a much more robust economy than most MMOs so far as well.

I'm on the Isle of Janithir server.

    In before Oops bans me.

Guild Wars 2, the only game where you get XP from doing absolutely nothing...

I miss Guild Wars 1. Casual Wars 2 was extremely easy compared to the former. What made GW1 fun was the fact that you were forced to work hard in order to level up. The fact that any mob could kill you easily in a late-game zone made the game fun and enjoyable.

Also, Guild Wars 1 was beautiful with its art and the simple animations gave it a charm. Casual Wars 2 tries to improve upon the original formula, but fails to appeal to the player. They simply tried too hard to make the game look realistic. I miss the smooth, semi-realistic animations of the original. It was the first's flaws that gave the game its beauty.

    Also, jumping is over-powered.

You are not "the player." You are "a player."
Just because you're picky about the art style doesn't mean that it's a bad game for everyone else.

Good game-play easily makes up for disliked art.

However, in this case, the game-play isn't good enough to do so.

Some people may like it, some people may not. I guess it's just me.
