I'd say it is slightly more rare than Survivor splash. I can't tell you how many times I have seen Amnesiac just not take a role at all. Especially if the mafia is losing.

Amn should be rarer than survivor...

Amn would rarely join town unless needed (going to be killed) - same points if win.
Will always try to join mafia - more points.
Often SK - even more points.
