Today the Egyptian people overthrew the U.S Embassy (good pwnage), but for a totally dumb reason: someone made a film supposedly insulting their religion or prophet. Whenever this shit happens, both sensible people AND Southern bigots shake their heads and rethink their position on the religion partially (or mostly) responsible for being a catalyst in this mass of rage. And this has happened various times in the past, too, Afghanistan a few times, Pakistan, Iraq, etc. People will throw rocks and shit and not be made to bend the knee to Christianity's influence.

In a way, we are like them in that we don't want them to impose extremist values on our society, but the difference is that in their countries, any foreign religion present is a privilege that is ruefully granted, and they don't even get special protection against persecution. In our countries, it is quite the opposite.

You haven't seen American Christians going apeshit and throwing rocks and laughing while doing it. But American Fundamental Christians are the American Taliban.

i have no problem with the spread of islam, as long as its a moderate islam, but of course you're more likely to get extremism among people who have crappy lives, i.e. those in the middle east and africa, or if you're one of those hated immigrants in europe living a crappy life

but the more well-off you are, the more moderate your religious beliefs become, and for a lot of people they abandon religious beliefs altogether. there was plenty of extremist christians, but most christians live in well off places now, so christian extremism is mostly gone as a result

Get a grasp of the world and overview on different values and civilizations, travel and then formulate your opinion as an individual without influence from peer pressure, herd mentality from the mainstream, in other words think for yourself.

Hate never yet dispelled hate and I'm not even reading your blabber after reading the poll options because you're obviously biased and have disregard on voters giving them an illusion of choice to foster your own ideas.
