I know I'm new here to the forums but I've been playing mafia for a couple of months now and believe I have come up with one of the most balanced setup possible.

Sheriff Can detect Mafia and SK
Investigator Cannot determine exact role
Doctor Knows if target was attacked
Vigilante Two shots
Mayor Two votes, can be healed
Random Town Cannot be citizens
Random Town Cannot be citizens

GodFather Invulnerable, immune to detection and can kill without a Mafioso
Advanced Mafia
Basic Mafia Cannot be killing role (excludes Mafioso)

Serial Killer Kills roleblockers
Amnesiac Cannot be Mafia, cannot be killing role (this essentially counts as town for me, hence why town only has seven roles, this is discussed here: https://www.thecouncilofmages.com/for...ic,1440.0.html)
Random Neutral
Advanced Neutral Exclude benign (so only Arson or Witch)
Basic Neutral Exclude killing (so only Jester or Survivor)

Additional:
Escort Can be roleblocked
Jailor Two executions
Spy Can hear Mafia and Masons
Coroner All options selected
Bodyguard Ignores immunity
Veteran Excluded from randoms

All mafia roles become Mafioso
Consigliere Cannot determine exact role
Disguiser Cleans the targets role
Consort Can be roleblocked
Janitor Two cleanings
Blackmailer Victim can talk during trial

Arson Attacks ignore invulnerability and healing
Witch Can cause self targets, target doesn't know he's controlled
Survivor Four vests
Jester Guilty voter dies
Executioner Becomes Jester upon failure

Game settings:
Majority + Trial
Last Will allowed
No PMs
Game starts at Night
Death descriptions
Discussion
Trial Defense

This setup is consistently giving me Town and Mafia strengths within half a point of each other (unless a Jailor is randomed, then town is slightly stronger).
