Useful? Unless these people join the Mafia channel hoping for an invite, I hardly see the usefulness of the thread.

Your list will keep getting longer, but you can't really avoid people in pub games can you? If you see them join your game you'l be bummed and unable to get rid of them, then as game begins you won't even know what they choose as name either.

I'm just saying, the more you get worked up over these people the more power you give them over you. Just forget about them, keep playing and enjoying Mafia as you normally do.

Some people change after a while too, you'd be surprised. You can't do anything about hopeless cases, just don't let them get you down. Its best to let it be and move on.

So more or less you are cheating to gain an advantage in a game of anonymity. This is unacceptable and if you plan on participating in mafia channel games or tournaments please refrain on doing so going forward. -Goonswarm

So, as much as I think it's not good for people to talk to each other on party chat at all about the game, I also think that it's not that huge of an issue knowing the other persons name as long as they are not cheating. Sure, we can't know for a fact they aren't cheating, but when you play with somebody enough, you'll know their name either way. Obviously we can pick out Goonswarm every game due to his name, or any of the other donors/players that use the same names over and over again. Was it wrong of Whimsical to a degree? Yes I'd say so and he should refrain from doing it again but should he be on an list of people unwelcome in private games? Probably not. But then again, I'm inclined to believe people when they say they weren't cheating until proven otherwise. Of course, it's your list Raiden and I personally don't use your list anyways(since I generally just play in house games with people I have been playing with for a while) but still, just thought I'd put in my two sense about the matter.

Also, I agree with Zacks post. Your list won't stop people from cheating and for the sake of In House games, we don't allow cheaters in. If you do manage to get in once, we'll find out and won't invite you again. So basically, just chill in the channel and 99.9% of the time, you won't have to deal with cheaters. Plus, for a public game, you can't kick people anyways and once people join the game autostarts so you don't really get enough time to leave without waiting for the load screen anyways. Your only hope is that those cheaters/griefers don't ruin another game.

At the very least, i'm using the list as a reminder. I could write them on paper, or in a text file, but i think some people would be interested in knowing who they are playing with. Even if you can't kick people from pubs, you can decide to leave that game, wait a few mins and join another. That's what i do when i find one of the names on my list in the lobby.

I agree 100% with you, I have played many games in party with people as its fun to talk about other things. It is simply unfair to the others if you use it to avoid having to pm or talk at day. Just make sure you keep everything game related in the game!
