Investigator Note: Fanatics would probably be lumped with Survivors, Jesters, Citizens, Etc.
Alignment: Neutral. (Advanced Benign)
Abilities: None
Win Condition: To die by being killed at night.
Host Options:
1: Sometimes Witches know who Fanatics are.
They would therefore not be able to have Fanatic's target anyone, but still be able to have people target Fanatics.
2a: Non-Killing Roles that target the Fanatic (might) die.
2b: Town roles that target the Fanatic (might) die.
2c: Fanatics gain killing power, allowing them to kill anyone who has targeted them in the past.
(Obviously if a Fanatic is dead, they cant target a killing role)
2d: Fanatics kill the first person who targets them.
3: Fanatics cannot be healed. (Since healing stops them from success)
Pros: Playing a fanatic is just like playing a Jester.
Cons: You have no abilities but can impact the game.
Overall effect on the metagame if implemented: Same as a jester, only reverse. Can help the witches by assisting in the death of townies, can help with townies by voting with them during the day. Most likely would attempt to help anyone who can kill, so that they can win. Jailor's and Vigilantie's would cause Fanatics to try to help town more.

Setting 1 being available in-game to hosts.
Put setting 2 (backlash) as inherent (probably as preset B, with possibility of killing rather then guarantee),
And setting 3 (cant be healed) also inherent.
The basic idea is a reverse Jester. They lose if they die during the day, and have a "random suicide", although I consider this way of killing to be better, as it does not decrease the chances of success to the Fanatic. (People are less likely to lynch a Jester because they are afraid to be the random guilty voter who dies)
If settings 1 and 2 were enabled, it would allow witches to make town roles target the fanatic and possibly die. For instance, if there are no killers (bad for both fanatic and witch), then the witch can make a Sheriff or an Investigator, or maybe even a Citizen target the fanatic, and the Townie could/would die. Interesting possibility is that witches then are able to sometimes kill non-able to target roles. (Such as mason, citizen, veteran, etc)
If killing was guaranteed then Witches knowing who a fanatic was would be very powerful.
