    New Random System

    First of all, from a quick overview of the random system, it looks very nice, intuitive. Can't wait to see how this affects the balance in custom saves.

    Anyway, (i hope this is the right place to post this)

    -Coroner doesn't seem to have a place except if you put it in random town, or actually put it in the save.
    -There is no random neutral, you have to force it with random any (exclude town, mafia)

    Comments? Was this intentional?

    he means no way to have a random neutral when you already have random neutral exclude non-killing roles.

    btw there is a normal rand. neutral. its just like rand. town but you can't exclude power / support you mean?

    FYI, now that it's been implemented, copying this from the R&D forum since I haven't seen it anywhere else:

    Neutral Benign: Jester, Executioner, Survivor, Amnesiac
    Neutral Evil: Cultist, Witch, Serial Killer, Mass Murderer, Arsonist
    Neutral Killing: Serial Killer, Mass Murderer, Arsonist

    Random Town: (All Town - only way to random Spy or Coroner)
    Town Core: Citizen, Mason, Sheriff, Doctor
    Town Killing: Vigilante, Bodyguard, Veteran, Jailor
    Town Investigative: Sheriff, Investigator, Lookout, Detective
    Town Protective: Doctor, Escort, Bodyguard, Bus Driver
    Town Power: Mayor, Jailor, Mason Leader, Veteran

    Random Mafia: (All Mafia)
    Mafia Killing: Godfather, Mafioso, Disguiser
    Mafia Deception: Janitor, Framer, Disguiser
    Mafia Support: Consigliere, Consort, Blackmailer

    No, it's pretty much as intended.

    There is but one Random Any slot. And you can use it to make a Random Neutral. What I don't want is people having slots where you don't know the alignment of that slot. Having a variable number of friends or foes makes setups less balanced. None of the regular Neutral slots have ambiguous alignments: Killing, Evil, Benign. You know if they are bad or good. Random Any is the ONLY slot that has the potential for variable alignment and I'm keeping it that way.

    Spy and Coroner are not in any of the random slots except Random Town. Those two roles are something you don't need multiple of in any setup so I wanted the chance of having one low. Also, they have limited use in some setups, so I'd rather have their inclusion in a setup be deliberate.

    By that logic mayor and mason leader should also not be any of the random slots except random town. Incidentally would only leave jailor and veteran in town power which are already grouped together as killing roles. Why not change town power to town special and put in mayor, mason leader, coroner, and spy?

    You can only have one of each in the first place, no need to put them in random town to make sure they don't appear multiple times.
