The only animes I liked were Full Metal Alchemist(Prefer the 2nd version) and Death Note. I'm gonna get negreped for it, but I don't like Bleach or Naruto. They were fine at start, but after 7 fillers and 1k of episodes I stop caring :/ But you probably already saw them. Not big on animes really

Mostly because, I saw a lot of die hard fans of bleach/naruto. Sometimes I'm scared of them. You never know where they are.

Exactly. I love deathnote (light should've won ) and like full metal alchemist brotherhood, the first one was too slow. As for bleach and naruto, yeah they're shit lately. Too many damn fillers and the story started lacking.

Watch Highschool of the Dead. You can watch all the episodes on youtube like you can for code geass. Just watch it cause it's halirious. They're apparently making a season 2.

Apparently they are coming out with a r3 >.< But sounds to me like it might be dumb and waste of time.
Through out the series I found myself hating him or loving him, in the end he was amazing, and god, the ending was great lol. Speaking of endings, hated how Death Note ended personally, I mean it was fine, but didn't like how he never depended on anybody, always had another way to save himself if everything went wrong, but then out of character at the end light just trusted everything in whats his face and ended up freaking out for no reason. Just bothered me.

Yeah I know. I've heard tons of rumors about r3 for like 4 years. I seriously doubt it's gonna come out, but if it does, they say lelouch won't be in it and that it would be a different story. As for lelouch, I have this thing with main characters that it's almost impossible me not to like them. I like light, even though he was insane and had this god complex, and wanted him to win till the end. Same with lelouch. Suzaku just straight up pissed me off, he fought for britannia and then gets all the glory at the end. -__-. The ending was great, super sad, and the song just killed me. xD I know what you mean about deathnote, he should have never trusted mizmaru (can't remember his name). Literally was his fault light lost. The main part that bothered me is that these 2 punk kids (mello and N) could beat light but L couldn't. Like wtf?! The one person I would've been ok with killing light is L. Series wasn't as great after L died but still good.

i cant really say ive seen sad anime, but i do recomend these few animes just for being epic.

bleach
death note
.hack//sign <--- i thought it was very sad the whole way just for plot 9/10
Night Wizards <--- 3/10 for sad
Black Butler <----- that one is kinda sad, and moderatley dark 6/10

side note, if u want something just dark you could always watch Invader Zim, not really an anime but still very entertaining
