Ok. That's a bit fishy though. One would think that you'd get it right in your roleclaim.

I also think it's a bit weird that the attacked and healed claim is listed before the bus drive while drugging happens after a bus drive and attacks and heals happen after drugging. In either case I'd expect the bus drive message to come first.

That could possibly be a habit of clementine though, I dunno.

Mine had Night 2 Results as a title by the way, so his title was the same style as mine.

The claim seems fine and a bodyguard isn't a massive stretch in this setup. The only weird part is the night 5 results.

"You were bus driven."

BROcumber must be the bus driver because MANGERINE and gRAPEfruit claimed bussed on the same night I was drugged with "Attacked+healed". AppleyHO later claimed bussed so there must be more than 2 people lying for BROcumber to be mafia.

BROmato didn't claimed bussed so it would help if he confirmed that he was. Unless BROcumber forgot who he bussed last night you have been drugged or you are lying.

Then there is the "attacked+healed" message. I don't know how you would have gotten this without 2 drug dealers.

The Big Bad Wolf used his right to remain silent in his trial, as the animals of the Pride Lands questioned him to try to figure out if he was the killer. Unfortunately, this animal kingdom took his silence as a sign of guilt and mercilessly prosecuted him of the charges at hand.

Epilogue

And after the Big Bad Wolf was sentenced to the death penalty, the rest of the insects of the forest suffered a fatal blow to their organization. Morale was low, and nobody really had the charisma and stamina to take over as leader for their cause. The insects decided to flee to another far off land.

The animals of the Pride Lands had emerged victorious! But at what cost? Many of their own had been killed in battle, but under the leadership of Simba the investigator and the catbus from Totoro, new animals from slightly beyond the Pride Lands were bussed in to help the survivors create a new home. The amaZANE clemenTIGERS were two refugees that took advantage of this new system and moved to the Pride Lands to help populate the new kingdom. Many of the sheep who had once been mindless grass eaters stepped up both during the crisis and afterwards. BROnana and MANGERlNE decided to help rewrite the law of the land in order to close loopholes and to ensure fairness for all.

So, little amaZANE clemenTIGERS, that’s the story of our family history and why our streak of tigers moved to the Pride Lands. Now that you’ve finished your cookies, relax and go to sleep, knowing that all is well in the land.

My thoughts on the setup:
Meta’ing the meta:
-M-FM VII and FM XII both had a distinct lack of tension between a double investigator claim by an investigator and a consigliere. M-FM VIII had a weird issue with the investigator CC which, among a series of unfortunate and specific circumstances led to the investigator being lynched. Why not play the forum mafia game where there actually ARE two investigators? Throw an actress in there, and things could get very interesting!

Red mafia:
-The red mafia's disguiser/actress roles really have not much to do at night, but the immense power to cause confusion. I thought it would be interesting to see how a team strategizes when two of their roles to some extent have the opportunity to act as scummy as they want.

Orange mafia:
-To balance the red godfather's detection immunity and Winnie the Pooh’s ability to eat bees, the orange mafioso has the power to kill twice if a sheep is lynched. That adds another layer of WIFOM to lynches, when scum claims sheep.

-With the orange mafia fabricator/drug dealer roles, I hope that they see the potential to drug deal and fabricate an interceptor kill! I think it would be awesome if used correctly. However, we included bus driver in case the drug dealer wishes to go the bus driving confusion route.

Neutrals:
-Bob-Omb was one of the main deterrents to a massive sheep/PR coordination plan. If Bob-Omb hadn’t died N1, it would have been a huge drawback to MANGERlNE’s plan in case he or BROnana was Bob-Omb.

Pokeballs:
-This was Zane’s little way to participate in hosting. I thought it was a fun idea, and added a little to the scumhunting (i.e. Dimwit’s haunter snafu). There are a few things that could have been tweaked (i.e. making it take a few votes to open a pokeball), but it seemed to work out well enough.

Interesting events during gameplay:
-Both town investigators chose the SAME avatar.

-Goremancer always dies N1 in Clementine's setups. Always.

-So much confusion between anon accounts helped lead to Dimwit’s demise. I think permissions are arranged in full FM’s to eliminate this problem. It might be something to look into if people decide to continue with anon M-FM accounts.

-N1 red Actress acted as the orange Mafioso. And then the actress was killed by the orange mafia since Dimwit was impersonating him during the blackout and orange mafia assumed that meant the Actress was town!

-License to Drug - Drug Dealer was drugged with his own drugs due to the bus driver! That accounts for one of the missing bus drives, and the bus driver was drugged with a bus drive that he didn’t report either.

-Very shady investigator and bus driver results. I wanted there to be some tension between the unconfirmed town PR roles, but this was just too good. It’s unfortunate that orange mafia wasn’t able to capitalize on this better.

BROnana was a good presence in day chat, stressed the importance of last wills for sheep, pointed out MANgo's fake results on leMAN, and most importantly helped figure out BROcumber was a legit bus driver because of attacked heal drug deal on N2. He was consistently pushing daychat along and for this he gets MVP. He also gets Zane’s choice award for being an awesome town player and a banana.

artiCHOKE both old (Fallacy) and new (Escaho) were key players in the orange mafia night chat. It’s unfortunate that Fallacy had to be modkilled for not posting during the daychat. It’s kind of funny that a player whose night action was never seen (due to the Order of Operations of the two kills on leMAN) wins best scum, but ultimately that helped build a case for gRAPEfruit being orange consig.

Philie mentioned to me that it would be awesome if she could bus a mafia kill into the mafia like the SC2 mafia achievement “licence to kill.” That’s a pretty rare occurrence for forum mafia, so I decided driving a drug deal back to the drug dealer was close enough to merit an achievement of its own.

In a way yea. But it got limited down to who was left and there wasn't that many people left.
I had a lot of fun playing this. Even though i was on vacation for over 50% of it. :P

Oranges gave up because we lost as soon as our kill on MANGERINE didn't go through at Final 9 (because BROtato was role-blocked. I should have attacked instead). It left 6 town vs 3 orange (we knew all the red mafia were dead and could only achieve 1 KPN per night). Since BROnana was dead set on not lynching anyone who visited him, we were forced to try and go for BROcumber. Ideally, I wanted BROtato to counter-claim the bus driver claim, but he came on way too late. It was by process of elimination that we would have lost because gRAPEfruit would have checked BROmato or artiCHOKE (the only two remaining mafia members) and we would've been outed due to our claims (Sheep and Bodyguard claims, respectively).

Great game, clementine and Zane. If only the red mafia didn't fail so hard =p.

Kromos, you edged out BorkBot for MVP because you were the guy who first made sense of the bus driver/drug dealer mess (granted you knew 100% you had been attacked and healed on N2). Without you, I think everyone might have wanted to lynch BROcumber for the extremely weird night actions that also implicated gRAPEfruit and AppleyHO. BorkBot's plan netted a list of sheep and the drug dealer as well as a not so useful nightchat since Timon and Pumbaa died suddenly. While the list was very useful, it was of the utmost importance to figure out that the PR's with kind of shady night actions were actually legit.

I was really surprised and proud of the town that you didn't mislynch BROcumber or gRAPEfruit. :]
