Night 2

Despite the two deaths, earlier that day, the town was peaceful and at ease. One was a terrorist, and the other was old Rafiki. People barely hung out with him since he was always away shaking his gourd at the moon performing rituals.

Some animals formulated a plan to try to help find the evildoers in their midst. They were thorough and tried their hardest to poke around at the loopholes in the Pride Lands constitution and bylaws to use the law of the land to their advantage. Satisfied for now, they rested easy, knowing that everything should work itself out.

honeyDUDE was not one of those peaceful animals. He was constantly on edge, provoking fights with both SLAUGHTERmelon and gRAPEfruit. Many other townspeople looked on but decided not to get involved in the drama.

Near the end of the day a funny man in a banana costume appeared in the Pride Lands, dropping pokeballs. He was the Johnny Appleseed of Pokemon and a part time performer, hired to make an appearance at the birthday party of the amaZANE clemenTIGERS. Two of his strange contraptions had been opened today – one trapping BROnana, and the other releasing a Ditto that duplicated itself into peabNUT giving peabNUT an extra vote.

Ditto became bored and wandered off, nullifying peabNUT’s special voting privileges.

Everyone was happy and optimistic as they lay down to sleep, watching the beautiful fireflies sparkling in the distance along the edge of the forest.

Day 3

Hakuna Matata! What a wonderful phrase! MANGERlNE’s plan resulted in a massive Pride Lands party last night. It was too dark for all the party goers to see who had attended the party, except for the observant hosts, Timon and Pumbaa. Reunited at last!

What a party! In the morning, everyone woke up groggy and slightly hung over to find tradgedy in the Pride Lands. There were giant bear tracks and a very obvious trail of spilled honey leading to and from the corpse of leMAN. leMAN was an innocent sheep who was brutally eaten. To add insult to injury, it appeared as if his remains were attacked again after death.

Another corpse was found out by the elephant graveyard. honeyDUDE was chewed to pieces, and his cute little helmet was slashed apart by sharp claws. Too bad honeyDUDE’s helmet offered him only negligible protection from the attack. honeyDUDE was identified as Nala, the tough young lioness, betrothed to Simba. The Pride Lands mourned her loss and even the sky wept for Nala’s death.

As rain descended onto the grasslands, a bystander found a note painted on the dirt near Nala, written in her own blood. It read:

In times of peace, prepare for war.

What would the animals of the Pride Lands do today to avenge their fallen lioness?

I was role blocked and I was attacked+healed. The latter could be a disguiser and I was healed by a second doc but that's not very likely. The drug dealer probably did it so he could be seen visiting me with the rest of the sheep.

From the RP, Timon and Pumba have a night chat together. Winnie the Pooh is aligned with town as long as he doesn't eat a bee.

We need to lynch someone today even without PR results so start voting who you suspect.

I'd rather you die and know your role then have you alive only to post once per day.

You increase the votes needed for lynches and can't be read from the tiny amount of posts you make, causing PRs to waste their actions checking you. Your lurking encourages others to lurk meaning there is even less posts to scum hunt with. Town lurking means mafia can lurk without pressure as either the town are lurking too much to pressure them or there are so much lurkers that you can't tell the difference between bad town and scum. If you are a citizen mafia won't kill you because you helping them hide. You could be a power role but in most cases active cits are more useful than power roles and you post so little I have no idea whether you are even using your night actions (often lurkers forget). Important night action results may not be reported. You could easily become a scapegoat allowing scum to hide while people focus on you. You may even be lynched for your anti-town lurking allowing scum to survive another night. See Festival of Blood M-FM for examples of all of these.

It is useful for us to know there is a vigilante and I can't think of any better targets at this point than you, BROcumber and BROmato. If you're town you can easily avoid being shot by posting more so I don't see what the problem is. And ofc I made that statement in order to get you to post more.

Why does anyone bother posting in forum mafia at all? The only post you made on the first two days relating to the game was

I guess there could be 2 drug dealers... At least I would say that there is one more doc. There is a lot of potential for a higher KPN so it would be unbalanced to only have 1 doctor. (There could be 2 like your first theory) I'm not sure a vigilante would attack you since you came up with a plan to unite Timon and Pumba, it was most likely a drug induced attack or mafia is trying to hide among the sheep. I wouldn't put it past a vigilante to shoot LEman, you have read his posts...

I think BROnana does a great job as a sheep and he is right. If we have no real information lynching non contributers is legit. Still Since Dimwit is a notorious lurker and likes to piss people off. I am not so sure about his alignment.

I would prefer lynching MANgo. All he does is swimming against the flow of the game and points only the negative sides out for town. He seems like he wants to keep us going blind through the game.

sorry for the lack of contributing, life is getting really busy all of a sudden. so i'm really sorry i made only like 1 post yesterday. i can do better.

one thing that sticks out is the bus claim. nobody claimed being bussed on day 2 IIRC? could that also be a possible drug deal?

Could be the driver is bussing himself and/or getting people killed (good or bad). Until we get corroborating claims and/or leads, all we can do is speculate. So we have two drug dealers, a drug dealer and a bus driver, a drug dealer and a vigilante+doctor or a bus driver, a vigilante and a doctor.

I'll bet on at least one drug dealer because those three town rules take up all the remaining PR slots. Seems unlikely to me.

It could be. It's odd that there was no evidence of a drug dealer from night 1 (only 1 block claim which is expected) then there are 2 possible druggings (attacked+healed on me and gRAPE bus driven) from night 2.

It's not unusual for a BD not to bus drive on night 1 and gRAPE could have been swapped with a dead guy last night (it would make sense if he was swapped with honey). If there is only 1 drug dealer I'd say my drugging is more likely as he could have done it look like a sheep or Pooh (it's risky for him to skip actions with a detective). The bus drive drug is almost a drug dealer give away as it can't be kept up long and I think a bus driver is more likely to be in the role list than 2 docs and vig who shot and healed.

If you don't think you can contribute on a regular basis maybe you should ask to be replaced. I'm sure there's a lot of reserves who'd like the place and you shouldn't feel obligated to finish the FM half-heartedly if you don't have enough time.

Clearly lurking pisses you off. Would it help if I told you that I'm finally on my day off? That I worked 3 12 hour days in a row because my place of employment is a skeleton crew and we had two call offs? Or does someone else having a professional life and responsibilities just really irritate the shit out of you? I contributed what I saw as reasonable given how little action there was.
