Aliens: Colonial Marines will be the best shooter ever

Because Prometheus is coming out soon, I thought might as well watch Aliens. I didn't see Alien yet, but I will, I just read that the 2nd movie was better. It got 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, and a lot of critics say "If you watch any movie in your life, watch this." I saw it, it was pretty awesome. Going to see Prometheus in 3D, too.

Anyway, you get to play as one of these Colonial Marines, and initially I was skeptical about this, not being into shooters much. But after watching the movie, I understand now. In the movie, they were like "WTF they're supposed to be in the room!" and they were in the ceiling. That's the kind of horror shooter we need. Maybe they'll have a map editor!

The aliens will look much better in this game than they have in any of the films or spinoffs.

It's a great game, has Marines, Predators, and Aliens all duking it out in 3 way multiplayer TDM.

Prometheus is directed by Ridley Scott who didn't direct Aliens. If you're hyping yourself up for the movie, watch Alien.

Believe it or not, I just skipped right to Aliens, I still have to watch Alien.

I read the spoilers/reviews for Alien 3 and Alien: Resurrection, both which should not be considered canon, as they were a pile of dogshit. I saw Alien 3, haven't seen Resurrection, will save the megabytes.

That's exactly it, just building on how awesome Aliens was. Like the aliens will be more realistic, but they will still scare the shit out of you by coming out of places you would never see. Of course, everything will be textured properly, because in the original, a lot of it looked like a rushed paint job - like the guns. Oh btw, in the trailer, you can see what the heavy-gunner's HUD looks like too!

This story is a direct sequel to Aliens, as you play a team trying to find Ellen Ripley. So it could be intended as a replacement of that piece of shit movie Alien 3!

Favorite scene in Aliens (of course, prob every1's): when they're like WTF they're so close, but not in the room! And Ripley realizes something, and looks up to the ceiling, and it's crawling with a shitload of aliens.
