    Re: Quick question

MM visits HOUSES not people. So detective should see him. If I remember the conversation correctly.

    Re: Quick question

Detective SHOULD see MM, because it moves around during the night, just like pretty much every other role in the game
    (except citizens,masons,mayor,survivor,executioner,jester)

He only kills people in the house. MM doesn't choose who he kills. If a Sheriff doesn't take his night action, he will remain in his house along with anyone else who targets the sheriff.
If sheriff does a night action, which he probably will, and nobody targets that person, MM kills no one.

What about Doctor who heals Sheriff? He visits Sheriff's house or house visited by Sheriff? Suddenly thinking about houses makes me dizzy:P
Lol the idea of the houses is different and new so it will take some time to understand xD
It is probably easier just to think that the MM does 1 of 2 things.
If the person uses a night action, MM turns that person into a Veteran.
If the person does not use a night action, that person turns into a Veteran and, also, dies himself.

    Re: Quick question

I just wonder - has this always worked like this? For example: doc targets sheriff, but sheriff targets doc. Does that mean that doc stays in his house? Does that mean Lookout observing sheriff's house see no visits? Does that mean that Detective observing Doc will see that Doc stayed in home all night?

Also: I know Lookout doesn't enter houses (so he is safe from Veteran on alert), but what about Bus Driver?

I'd really appreciate some "house tutorial" explaining some common and uncommon situations:P I have too many questions as you can see...

Thats how I've always looked it it. I just wanted to make sure I could track a MM as Det.
After all some roles (Jailor) you cannot track. Jailors don't 'Visit'

That is correct. If you are Detective and you follow a person and the feedback says, "X visited Y's house." You instantly know that the person was MM.

    Re: Quick question

I played a game with a lookout while I was MM, there was a sheriff who said he was going to visit orange, or whatever. I visited orange. That night the lookout looked at the sheriff and saw nobody visited him. I killed the sheriff, and the lookout was talking about 'maybe there's a glitch,' but his not seeing anyone visit the sheriff makes sense to me. I targeted oj, and so did the sheriff, so if the lookout targeted OJ, then he would have seen the MM and the sheriff visit. The lookout is slightly more difficult to use to detect the MM, but it works as far as I know to find the MM. However, I'm not sure if the lookout actually visits anyone at night, or what, cause if they do, I would have killed the lookout when targeting the sheriff too.

You did not visit the same person the MM did, you visited the Sheriff.
The MM did not visit the sheriff, he was killed because he visited someone.

    Lookout < MM < Detective

Also, MM kills lookout if you target the same person as the MM

or is he like the JAILOR who can use his ability, but doens't ever 'visit' anyone?
I know jailor doesn't visit with day action (-jail) but doesn't the jailor visit people when he performs a night action (execute)?

I was the MM in that scenario, and I was essentially saying what you said, although I wasn't sure about the last part.
