lets say theres 5 people left, 2 mafia and 3 townies, its day 5 and maf just killed someone, 5 players left now. would it be legal to give up ur team mate and say im invest, i checked this person he is cit/sin all neutral roles are gone he must be godfather.

this would "confirm" myself as say investigator a townie, now theres 4 people, the godfather is lynched. maf kills 1 person the next night, now 3 people and now i could say this person is maf or the maf targeted my target. and it makes it far more likely to win the 1v2 as mafia cuz ppl think ur investigator.

i guess my question here is this, is it ok to throw a team mate under the bus for the win. assuming you ask ur team mate the night before and he says "allright go do it" '

scenario 2, you dont ask for permission but you end up winning anyway, could you be reported for giving up a team mate?

scenario 1: He says yes, he reports you, he said yes. His fault.
scenario 2: You throw him under the bus and win, i see it as legal. You throw him under after telling him your plan at night, I still see at legal. You don't tell him at all and throw him under, depends on how you go about it.
