Do bodyguards save other bodyguards?

So, take the hypothetical situation where there are 10 bodyguards and 1 SK. If bodyguards randomly guard people, including the SK and the SK attacks someone who is guarded... Do only 2 bodyguards die? Or can more bodyguards die because other bodyguards try to guard the other bodyguards and join the shootout?

Yes, bodyguards can protect anyone who is attacked.

If two bodyguards are on one guy and that guy gets attacked, the bodyguard who guarded first I believe is the one who dies. The other does nothing unless there is an second attack.

Basically, Bodyguards are the 2nd strongest roles in Mafia capable of killing, right behind the Jailor, and right after the Bus Driver.

Ugh, what i'm asking is: if a bodyguard X guards bodyguard Y who is in turn protecting person A..... If person A is attacked, Will only bodyguard X die, Bodyguard Y doe, or both bodyguard X and Y die because bodyguards can't be saved while guarding.

Bodyguards cannot prevent the deaths of other Bodyguards. Bodyguard Y will still die.
