Marine doesn't die during executions

I've noticed that in fire and electrocution executions, the marine player character does not play a death animation. After he is declared dead and his role given, he's still standing there safe and sound.

On a serious note, this has been around for awhile and I am assuming it will be addressed in the 1.5 update.

This. Plus the marine is Elite so he can't be lynched, just the player who failed to live as him.

I would also like to point out that in regular SC2 games, units have different death animations depending on the manner in which they die. It would be nice if in Mafia, a fire execution for example resulted in a fire-animation death instead of the default death.

Might be harder to code. But an interesting proposition nonetheless.

Agreed. All I can see happening is maybe having the bodies' color changed to a darker color to representing burn. I believe that can be changed. However, bullet damage and knife damage may be harder to represent.
