Make basic maf turn mafioso before adv maf.

So heres what happend.

Role list for mafia was: Basic Maf, Adv Maf, Adv Maf.

In the graveyard was a mafioso- the only maf in graveyard.

Teal claims invest.

I am thinking hes a consig.

Then I say "wait a minute, mafioso in gy was basic maf and consig is basic maf so therefore consig is impossible".

Then i realize what actually happened is it was Consig/Janitor/Janitor and n1 due to no killer the janitor converted to mafioso.

I know setups without GF to start are rare but personally I prefer them since cits are always off (my save has no gf in it). I think the above situation is dumb and that it just makes sense basic should convert to mafioso before advanced does.

I don't know if it's random or if some mafia roles always turn into mafioso first. Does anyone know?

I don't know if it is random but why do you have a save that forces something to immediately turn into another role? Why not just make it mafioso, basic, adv...

Agreed, if this is in your save, change it to have mafioso set in your save.

I think it depends on the night sequence.

If a role has a sequence that comes before the others, then it might turn into a mafioso first?

It wasn't my save, actually. Mine has a confirmed mafioso.

But the basic/adv/adv could still turn out a mafioso and not force anyone to change.

In a save with basic/adv/adv is the only time this kind of thing would ever come up and anyone who has it like that is stupid for not just putting it the way you have it xD

I agree but that doesn't mean this suggestion shouldn't be implemented to help rectify those situations.

Agreed, or, at the least, clarification on what roles turn mafioso/godfather first.

I saw a scheme in adv mafia to mafioso , here is :
1 consort
2 framer
3janitor
4bm
5 disguiser
6 consigliere ( if don' t replace gf )

It's random who turns into the Mafioso.
In my opinion the situation we have right now is fine. You just need to be aware of it.
