this, tbh. I guess I was completely in the wrong. It's very hard to imagine a world where Robbie shouldn't be eliminated ASAP.

If the role doesnt have the power to convert others, do we really think it has the power to convert oneself to town? That seems potentially gamebreaking too. Breadcrumber can just switch to whatever alignment is winning.

Furthermore, if the suspicion is simply that alucard may have some hidden power that allowed him to convert someone, continue to exert influence on the game, or take over another slot then there is little reason to level that suspicion at robbie in particular. The only way I can even imagine that making sense is if you think alucard has a power that allows him to resurrect as another slot and reentered the game that way. But I feel dumb just sharing the idea.
If Robbie rejoins and demonstrates he actually has the powers his passive says he should have, then I see no reason to believe his resurrection was due to anything other than the power of his rolecard, making it a totally independent process that noone else could feasibly preempt or predict. In such a scenario, the only case it would make sense to scumread him is if you think he was scum all along, or his power secretly resurrects him as scum or something.

The fact Robbie has been totally absent makes me believe he probably totally stopped following this game after night 1, and if he actually comes back he might return to tunnelling mabel and only be willing to vote mabel, which could have very bad consequences in some possible configurations tomorrow.
But with so little basis in actual known game mechanics, I don't see the justification for giving so much credence to the possibility Robbie came back as scum. I'm not sure how that would even work. How could that feasibly be considered balanced? Furthermore, why on earth would a virus software even "get a bad feeling" in the first place?! That is totally unlike how the role has worked so far lol.
Though, I think one thing that might give the theory some credence is all of the secrecy surrounding the mastermind. They are supposed to be dead anyway, yet the rolecard is half-missing and Wendy got specifically told they don't "have enough experience points" to fully see the role either. Wendy has been given some god-tier ability that gives him information on everything in the game yet still misses out info on alucard. I think that suggests his mechanics may still play some significant role in the game.
Yet, without a serious hypothesis for how Robbie could be scum or connected to alucard, this is still just lvl 100 conspiracy theories. There are 50 loose ends that need to be tied up to explain such a thing.

The only reason to even suspect Robbie may be scum is because of this ambiguous feedback wendy supposedly got, who also claims to have a stake that should kill robbie anyway. Am I wrong in my understanding there?
Lynching him isn't even a failsafe plan. That could backfire quite spectacularly.

If the game doesn't end when it's just me, candy and Mabel I wouldn't even bother to defend myself, because only some ungodly combination of mechanics could make that possible. So I have no problem with this arrangement.
Honestly, I'd take the pills now and save us the discussion, but I'm a little paranoid one of you might survive the showdown and an extra town might die via the shotgun or smth. I dunno. I'd feel very bad if I took the pills now and borderline "threw" if it turned out my slot was needed.
Tho obvs if I'm the lynch taking the pills only makes sense. It looks like host confirms you took the pills midway thru day too, judging by what happened with mabel on d2. So yh, if for whatever reason ppl spontaneously find me super scummy and wanna lynch me b4 Soos give me a ping and I'll kms :P

I endorse that plan! I don't really see how doing anything else at this point could work any better, even if we try to come up with complicated scenarios where the plan fails. Soos is next on the POE, and he'd need to be removed one way or another, even if he isn't lynched today.
You know I just realized Soos is possibly the one that killed me
So idk if Old Man knew this, but Soos hid cyanide in his gift(he claimed this day 2) Soos claimed to have chucked it to the thread, and that's where the gifts in thread came from. This gift was the 1-shot auto vest I got, that old man gave me. It was laced with Cyanide according to soos. Idk if the Candy I ate also would have killed me, but considering I was never informed of any cyanide, I don't think it's unreasonable it had some negative effect on me.
Only reason I suspect Old Man knew about this was the fact he passed it on to me, which is a very weird thing to do when that was the same day Old Man started suspecting me when I got into that argument with Blendin. Idk why he didn't just open it himself.
So if it was really Soos' gift that killed me.. I suspect Old Man may have been complicit. Although this would require weird scum numbers, (4 mafia, 2 illuminati, 1 neutral), it wouldn't necessarily be impossible, especially if the illuminati was one of the mafia.
Granted this is just me being a conspiracy theorist who suspects anything and everything, but you know, it's worth being cautious... Though that theory has a lot of different holes that I'm not gonna think about rn since it's just a theory. Like, a lot of holes. But it's worth covering our bases.
Bro, you think someone crushed up their pills and sprinkled it on their gift or something??? I don't see the relevance of any of this unless you were licking your vest. This isn't dnd, go easy on the big brain theories smh
If McGucket is scum, I think he's Illuminati. There's no way Dipper is Illuminati(mech impossible because of the judge), so if they are scum aligned, they're mafia, and that means 2v1v1 is the most likely scenario for tomorrow, possibly even 3v1 if we misinterpreted some things.
The reason I think McGucket would be illuminati and not mafia is because of how buddy buddy he was with Blendin. He wanted to let Blendin live for the longest time, and corroborated a lot of the story day 2 when Blendin was attacking you (he generally stayed out of the thick of it though, which I still find quite weird. Like he said SOME things to fuel the fire, but he didn't dive deep and get into the meat of the argument really.)
I think it's also worth mentioning Soos could be the illuminati instead, though this is mainly based on the Robbie kill. Blendin could communicate to Soos that Robbie was neighborizer, and Soos could then submit the kill with that purpose.
I don't know what you mean by not getting "into the meat of the argument". I wrote a fat wallpost explaining how our knowledge of the mechanics heavily indicated Mabel was scum at the time. If you're asking why I didn't argue with either point for point, it was because they were being very silly. Mabel was basically just trying to wind Blendin up and Blendin was screaming crazy things about a neighbourhood chat he had never actually read. I just tried to calm Blendin down .
I argued that Blendin should be given a chance to prove himself for the first half of day 3 because at the time I genuinely still thought he was town. In hindsight, I guess it's obvious the power to convert scums to towns would be considered "game breaking", but you didn't emphasize this point yourself until later. I don't know what to tell you. If you lynch me over Soos because I temporarily argued for stalling Blendin's lynch over dippers because I thought his power was pocketable, I think that would be reading far too much into an association read that doesn't exist.

If gideon visited me with his action, I should be dead, not disguised, not converted.
The deathnote also implicates me directly in his murder. If I didn't visit gideon, he shouldn't be dead, nor should there be a deathnote implicating me.
So some error has been made or several convoluted mechanics we know nothing about are coalescing at once.

what doesn't make sense to me is team compositions. My hypothesis would make the scumteam:
Mafia
JOAT
Santa
(Possibly Mccafe)
Power: Factional Blackmail
Illuminati
Breadcrumber
Author
(Potential mastermind ally)
Power: Ability to fuck up a lynch and the receiving of "knowledge" every night.
Mafia seems indisputably way less powerful than illuminati. But dipper has to be on mafia team if he is mafia, and the interactions between Wendy and Dipper make it hard to imagine them being on a team together, meaning I can't even move author to the mafia team.
This is all a mess

I'd lynch soos first for the simple reason we can choose to totally incapacitate dipper by refusing to open any of their presents if necessary. It seems like a fundamental mechanic that his presents cannot resolve their effect unless we allow them to. And if scum have no factional night kill then soos makes a lot of sense as a person to put on a scumteam.
I see town motivation behind the play he made with striking off mabel, but I can see scum motivation in that play too. If it was uncovered mabel died at the author's hand, his head would presumably be rolling in a heartbeat.

On some level, if Sergei can use his power today that makes all of this extremely simple. PoE says 2-3 scum are in dipper/soos/wendy and though wendy is being a bit if a sack of potatoes it's kind of true that it would be insane to reveal you have access to all the game's information. As scum, that would mean you constantly have to confirm every town's claim or enter a thunderdome.
You think the host/role submitter misinterpreted McCafe as McAfee with the virus thing?
And I find it to be a really big stretch for a role to have hidden powers that don't show up even after the role submitter dies
Like there are only a few things you can take as constants in krc games... but learning about roles people submitted after they die feels like one of those things, right?
I was thinking the same thing with a Blendin + Wendy Illuminati team. We know there's one more illuminati out there, Wendy could definitely fit the bill given their whole schtick and then Wendy comes around with inexplicably obtained information about the game xP
Yeah, I think the role maker was doing some weird wordplay or misunderstood their own name choice lol.
Maybe, but that's more of a rule of thumb than something set in stone. Any generalization about krc can be countered with "but this is krc" lol. Granted this is my first krc game, but my understanding is we probably shouldn't take anything for granted.
And if Illuminati did get these files, I don't see the thematic relevance of this whole virus feedback thing. Illuminati would just... get the files in a shadowy and unmeasurable manner lol.
idk, we could argue about this until the cows come home. We're grasping at straws. Might be better to make a return to good old fashioned scumhunting and see if we can find some incriminating associations. I'll do that tomorrow with blendin.
All i got was they got a typewriter
I'm not talking about the one dipper gave him. Sergei claims he got a typewriter on n2 that allows him to resurrect a dead player at the cost of his own life. Do you have any information that supports this claim?
Do you see a log of all feedback players have received?

Well it doesn't matter if you reveal it if you don't actually use the info to aid us... You still haven't gotten back to me on whether you have info about Sergei's typewriter. >.<
do you believe Wendy's claims? Or do you think she's illuminati who just TMI slipped in the most obvious way possible?
Err, honestly? It's very unlikely he made this claim without actually getting a tonne of information, and getting Soos to back him up would have been a huge risk. This virus thing also aligns with his role. He probably genuinely got the information.
That doesn't mean I townread him. I think townreading the slot because their role seems weak is a mistake. Blendin+Wendy would be a really poetic team, because it'd be the most powerful and least powerful roles combined.

statistically the chance of noone getting shot by now is rather slim, like 15%. Maybe Mabel is right about this just being a meme ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
FM-Wendy Corduroy Why do you have powers not explicitly mentioned in your rolecard? You need to explain yourself a little, because "files on every player's role and who they visited" seems like a very illuminati themed gift to receive.
As Sergei seems to be committing to his claims about his role, I'll be explicit about the relevant parts.
I received your rolecard exactly as you see it Sergei, but there was no reference to the loss or gain of different items at different chapters of your life.
I also saw your equipment. It listed the 4 items you had at the start of the game, and made no reference to a typewriter. In hindsight, the typewriter is very fantastical and thematically distinct from the 4 rugged, down-to-earth items like the revolver, shotgun, flashlight and flashbang.
To be blunt, I am fearful you made up the crap about the typewriter because of its obvious benefit in a MYLO or LYLO situation, and that you never lost your items.
