I also think it's wrong to say i've done "nothing" to convince y'all. I've described that i think Nixon's manner of speaking and way he was addressing me was scummy and not the way i believe town!him would have addressed me. Some of his posts too felt scummy. Particularly the one where he said: "sometimes people are just obvtown" and one where he said: "How smart it was for you (as an wolf)" to me when i just said why i voted an president which was ???. He called me powerwolfing then changed his stance to say i'm tunneling and his read development on slots is either completely absent or doesn't make sense when put under closer scrutiny. He lied about the intent behind some of my posts to make me look bad, in what felt like an deliberate manner. Calling me anti-town and stubborn and generally just being as pedantic and argumentative as possible rather than actually trying to be town. etc etc etc.
So don't any of y'all blame me for not doing more, from my POV you were just too narrow minded to understand.

Nixon is here stating facts and arguing his position, Jefferson is claiming stuff out of the blue. Not even going to mention that Jefferson there tries to bind Nixon and Wilson, which makes absolutely no sense tbh ?

    ►►Re: S-FM 344 (Ladder): President II◄◄

As I've said earlier : none of what FDR does makes sense so it could be a clueless town. The fact that pushing him is that easy probably means he's just that, rather than reckless/overconfident scum IMO.
The ONE thing that bothers me is that he tends to simply ignore posts that bother him too much... Which feels like a very anti-town thing to do. I guess my defense of FDR is kinda TWTBW, uh ? That fucking sucks balls. Yeah I guess FDR can die but I wish we'd get a better slot.
I personally don't see what Nixon has done that warrants so much votes on his ass, but he is much more controversial and thus probably a better lynch regardless.
Jefferson has been a scum read of mine since their argument with Nixon in which I found Jefferson's push far worse than Lincoln's.

Honestly, this. Nixon would be dead already if any of his pushers had presented any half decent arguments but AFAIK no one ever bothered to.
Okay no that's dishonest : the Eisenhower's wagonomics are a very good argument, tbh, and the way votes evolved since I left is very enlightening indeed. Still, this feels a little lackluster IMO so I'll

I think it's mathematically extremely likely that mafia (at least 1 but probably more) are voting there right now so either they are bussing or he's town. Given he's making a habit out of making posts that make me make that confused scrunchy face I am sure some town are there too but he's an easy mischop if he's town and given the gamestate I don't think it's the correct chop.

But Nixon... Nixon is a fine wagon?

Your measure for what equates to good or bad reasoning for a vote is kinda all over the place. You dislike these wagons, but your prepared alternative is someone you feel so tepidly towards that the simple act of them posting and engaging renders it unnecessary?

If you haven't got suspicions to push on day 3 of a game town is losing what the fuck are you doing here?
It seems you misunderstood me somewhat, allow me to clarify.
We seem to be on the same train of thought about FDR.
I don't see how nixon is scummy, I've said it thrice by now but I'll say it again : Nixon/Lincoln felt very T/T to me, whereas Nixon/Jefferson felt T/S. Maybe I'm turbo tunneled on Jefferson because of the "knowing" shtick but I honestly feel worse about Jefferson than about Nixon.
My vote on Jefferson was a vote to force him to generate more content, first, I wasn't considering voting Jefferson all the way until they get lynched (yet). Thus, since they were willing to speak, I had no need to vote them.
I also believe your comment on "having suspicions to push" isn't entirely honest, because if I want to offer a counterwagon I not only need suspicions but a strong enough argument that I can convince you guys.

    ►►Re: S-FM 344 (Ladder): President II◄◄

These are the current votes :

    FM-Franklin D Roosevelt (3 [L-996]):
    FM-George Washington (Mayor), FM-John F Kennedy

    FM-Richard Nixon (3 [L-996]):
    FM-Dwight D Eisenhower, FM-Abraham Lincoln, FM-Franklin D Roosevelt

    FM-Thomas Jefferson (1 [L-998]):
    FM-James Monroe

    ====

fdr's vote is tolerable because it is self pres, self pres is fine as either alignment, though one could argue against it if you are a powerless role.

Thus to find where the scum lies in the current trains it is a matter of who is scum/opportunistic between FM-George Washington (Mayor) & FM-John F Kennedy on one side, or FM-Dwight D Eisenhower & FM-Abraham Lincoln on the other.

Most of those are consensually town read. Lincoln does feel like he's tunneling a bit, especially since he refuses to elaborate his thought on Nixon, but overall I don't see much in these trains...
Is it impossible that both are town lead ?

I dislike both trains but have to admit that fdr has done very little to take himself out of his current predicament, despite my best efforts. I was strongly considering voting you up before you showed up, since you are here AND engaging with me I don't see a need to anymore.

    Spoiler : Print :

    TOWN (In no particular order)
Abraham Lincoln - Mr. Lincoln has demonstrated an organic thought process on several occasions. While I believe that the place he is coming from in reference to Nixon is pure of heart, I do not believe that it is correct, and I think his inability to parse and explain his thoughts reflects that.

Dwight D Eisenhower - Through two iterations, Eisenhower has repeatedly demonstrated a willingness to solve and hunt the game. I appreciate his active posting when reading up. This has been a disappointingly slow congress, and seeing Eisenhower's thoughts appear as he was having them was deeply refreshing.

James Monroe - Monroe is a somewhat worrying gentleman. He has an air that makes me cautious. I would not be surprised to see that I have placed him incorrectly. I have, however, found myself aligning with his thoughts on several occasions. I share their frustrations on the lack of any reasoning why Nixon is a spy. They are hesitant to outright align themselves alongside Nixon, however, which is worth pointing out. If one is a spy, the other one likely could be as well.

Lyndon B Johnson - I find it difficult to parse why Johnson is specifically town beyond me liking how they speak. But I have a strong feeling that they are trustworthy.

Richard Nixon - I have yet to see a single actual point describing why Nixon is a spy. I could be convinced that they are. But nobody has made an attempt to do so. I particularly liked Nixon's play day 1, and do not understand where the distrust emerged from.

    NULL
John F Kennedy - I recall hearing that Mr. Kennedy was suffering health related issues, and as such is taking a relative leave of absence. I would like them to return. Out of the residents of the Null category, Kennedy is most likely to be American, and I will be looking for any excuse to move him up my list.

Thomas Jefferson - I was largely unsure of where to place Jefferson. I think that determining Jefferson's alignment is the next thing that I need to do. I think it is likely that he will be a spy in this position, but I cannot say that with any certainty yet.

    SCUM
James Madison - I wish we had more knowledge of their thoughts and thought processes. I have yet to actively disagree with anything that they have said, but I don't feel that anything they have said is particularly damning. They just have yet to say much. I think it is likely that they are coasting through the low activity.

Franklin D Roosevelt - The blatant OMGUS today and attempts to shade me through attacks completely devoid of any basis has me believing that my premonition day 2 was correct.
Overall like the list a lot, I'd still have Kennedy in the townies, and madison higher, tho.
For numerical reasons I'm guessing at least one scum is powerwolfing, if I had to guess now who that'd be I'd say Eisenhower, yourself or Lincoln in no particular order. Hopefully this will become clearer once we've got scum corpses to investigate from.
I've got the thought boggling in my head that Kennedy could be using AtE to cover for himself but that may be just me being paranoid.
Thinking back about it, add Kennedy to the front of the alleged powerwolfers.

No but seriously, what the fuck is that ? That's the first time I see anyone asking to "ignore the words" and consider "actions" when we collectively have literally zero way of knowing any action outside votes unless someone dies and posts a LW !?! This sounds downright INSANE to me, are you okay, franklin ?

    Anyway.
You wanna talk about actions ? Fine, let's talk about actions.
What's Washington done ? Vote you up for the rope. Twice, which was warranted because you barely existed until then. And he was on poor Wilson's arse, too.
But what have you, kind sir, done ? You've voted for Washington in RVS and have done fuck all since then, that's what your contribution amounts to.

Liking me now Mr. Johnson? I know how much you appreciate that word.
First statement simply seems far fetched and thus, very bold.

Nice, that's good because no one is "pushing hard for [you]" yet. Or did you mean that me & Monroe are ?

As a town, no, I don't. I very much dislike lies when I'm town, and for the LAST TIME the ONLY worlds in which this is NOT a lie are :
    - a world in which you've gone bonkers insane and mistake belief for knowledge ;
    - a world in which you are scum.

So if you are town, I beg you to stop saying that because that seems counterproductive at best and utterly stupid at worst.

Do you have any information that encourages you to think the N1 kill really was a "framing kill" that you haven't shared yet ?
Do you have any information that encourages you to think scum is pushing you that you haven't mentioned ?

Please help me understand your position, because I have trouble understanding your POV at the moment. From either alignment, because in my eyes you'd need to be very stupid to say the shit you do as scum, but at the same time it doesn't make sense for you to say it as town either (as it doesn't help at all, quite the opposite in fact FMPOV) so I'm really kinda lost.

This is a good point, however considering the deceased Roosevelt was a doctor, I think it's safe to assume he was killed because of his profession, which IMO makes this irrelevant (killing doc >> keeping things a little bit more confused, I'd say).

The death of our medical professional is an ill omen upon us. We are in treacherous waters. I made a grave mistake yesterday by allowing Franklin Roosevelt to go through the day without any further issue. I will not make that mistake again.

I agree with Theodore's commentary on Lincoln. I consider him to be solidly American as much as I consider myself to be one. I believed that I had made my opinions on Nixon and Wilson rather clear- although I will admit that upon review it appears I did not reference Jefferson, one of the largest question marks in our company currently. I am open to discussing my thoughts on any of these gentlemen with you today. But it will take very strong convincing to make me sway from my vote on Franklin presently.
Quite frankly, fdr probably deserves the gallows, but nonetheless that spot is in so much of a dubious spot that I'd advocate for looking outside of this obviously murky spot.

Why do you say nixon is afraid ? I would greatly appreciate it if you went into a little detail there. Or anywhere, actually.

Unafraid you certainly seem to be but I'm pretty sure you should reconsider it, if only a little.

Woodrow feels pressured enough as is, so I'll insist in that direction because I now feel fine about nixon. For now... Maybe he'll turn around and run backwards.

Interesting. Not only is this underwhelming, but this is very countercurrent to the thread IMO...

Now to be fair he did mention that the game was very inactive in general, but I agree that it would be far better if the thought process was laid out explicitly.

Now to be honest I don't actually think much of it, but it does strike me as odd to say that you "know".
What we actually know is that the only way to know why scum did it is being one, this you certainly didn't miss and yet you chose to say that you did know, regardless. I do find that odd.

    At #534 atm
Starting to feel Jefferson/Nixon is S/T and I'm leaning towards Nixon being town.
