Basically the theory is wolves want to avoid attention so they'll avoid posting, so chop through the low posters and see what shakes out. You're not going to flush the deep wolf, if there is one, through normal game play. You're going to catch the high posting wolves through actions and cross examination of their actions and responses to actions.
So chop the low posters looking for slank wolves and use your night actions to find the deep/high posting wolves.
This is sweet, noticing that temp vote thing shows good analysis. Really good depth to this
I have one question about why pink’s “for now” is fine while the others lean scum to you. I agree that pink looks great on this post but then I feel like it should make you reeval if the other votes are truly wolfy here?
Mostly comes down to the amount of additional commentary and information Oink put into their post compared to the others. Oinks post reads like they're actively working to wrap their heads around things, they are mutating with the thread as it progresses, and just vibes a lot better than the others do.
Nice catch on whether or not I'd re-evaluate the other votes that I talked about. I'm not planning on doing that without a flip of Protag to check interactions pre-voting. I think it's enough to get my thoughts into the thread and go from there. We can discuss that further tomorrow if you'd like though once we have some bodies and night results to dig into.

Matchstick wagon
changed my mind, parking on unvote helps nobody and means I'll probably come back to new wagons I need to read tomorrow
[vote]FM-Matchstick Man[/vote]
I think the ISO reads wolfy overall. Some good posts but not enough to cover a few of the pings I got - weird treatment of hat being one, and I think their read on pilgrim comes with TMI in that they already are setting up to be wrong about it and have other people take the fall.
This is not my top wolfread - that still belongs to hat - but it helps me progress towards finding hat, because I think w!match --> w!hat, and I wouldn't feel happy voting hat without doing a full ISO.
The Scarf vote is fine, has some reasons that can be pushed back on, and also tries to tie in Hat. Not sure I dig the chain action that Scarf is trying to generate here but it's still something we can press Scarf on later if needs be. Ultimately it's a fine vote with a hint of sus chain logic going on to chew on for later.

idk who Snoopy is FM-Bad Hair Day why is Matchstick the counterwagon you want and not an additional vote on Protag?
Voting Protag here at least puts the Protag wagon to 5, one less than Pilgrim whereas voting Matchstick gives two 4 vote wagons chasing a 6.
Thoughts plx?

the protag wagon:
[vote]FM-Protagonist Hair[/vote] this looks fine??? fineish??? for now i guess
Pay attention to the last 4 words in the quoted post, they show up a lot. Like the Protag wagon isn't where these voters really want to be or they're not pot committed to the vote. It's weird.
Anyways, nothing from Rectangle here makes me think wolf. Lazy, but not wolf.
Finally I am here.
I didn't like the mass pinging from Anime Waifu to lynch Pilgrim. Protagonist is on my suspicion list. I'm temporarily placing my vote here, since we're playing double elimination and I don't mind the suspicious Protagonist going off with her target.
[vote]FM-Protagonist Hair[/vote]
To understand why this wagon has formed, I'll have to read the 50 pages you've written while I've been away, and I'll try to make it before the end of the day. If I change my mind during reading, I will cancel this vote.
See you soon.
Here's another vaguely waffly vote for Protag. This one literally is a "temp vote" and given double elim Pareidolia doesn't really care much who dies, as long as it isn't themselves I think. This vote feels more wolfy than the Rectangle vote does if only because it's a lot of word salad to ultimately say "idk if I really want to vote here" but then they don't actually do anything else.
Just got through Protag hair's ISO and the only thing that made me consider that they were a 3p was that they said "I fear both town and scum". I definitely wouldn't immediately go to 3p from here since I'd be a little afraid of being voted D1 (hence afraid of both town and scum D1) if I had a mechanic that only works N2. Also, Protag hair says that they have a way to check if you were lying about being the rolecop if you target them and they genuinely believed you were softing rolecop (because you said there's a good probability that there's a rolecop and no one really knows that probability). So it makes sense for them to be pushing for an inspect.
The big issue with Protag hair here now is that they keep pushing you as a main wagon. At first, I thought it might be town agenda because a wagon on you might bring the thread to life / unify the massive amount of people here. I also thought that you claiming would give information about the anticlaim mechanic and if it kills you somehow, the town wouldn't be at a huge loss because you really just haven't done much yet.
But also the mafia benefit from the anticlaim information and their goal is to kill people so it doesn't really matter who they kill off.
tbh Pilgrim I don't think Protag made a case for you being mafia, they just sort of wanted to policy vote you all day because they wanted to jumpstart the town / potentially get more information from the anticlaim mechanic. At the moment I think you're a net 0 for the town, Pilgrim, so it feels weird that you're the one protag has been pushing all day.
I'm gonna vote here for now
[VOTE]FM-Protagonist Hair[/VOTE]
Might be the best vote post I've read this game. Clear, concise, well laid out. Mostly ignores the person they're actually voting for in favor of engaging with their vote targets target, that feels like someone from town attempting to gather a clearer understanding of the game state and why people are being pushed. Wolves generally don't care about whys, they care about deaths and leaving minimal trails to their doorsteps.
This is a big flashing arrow pointing back to Oink.
Townie for sure.

I do have takes on the voters though:
this guy is trying to look like hes reading then later on he say he gave up reading, yeah this slot is prob scum ngl
i dont think town would mention they give up and just look for different ways to play

This feels really lazy but in a villagery sort of way. there's no setup, there's no pushing anyone else to vote here, it's just a "here's what I think and a vote" and then Licklicky moves on. Townie, I think.
tbh i think pilgrim is worse than protag but i still don't like protag

I think I need to read more from Space Pizza to understand the difference between Pilgrim and Protag that they say they're seeing but firmly stating not w/w together at least puts Space on the map with a stand that can be questioned should either Pilgrim or Protag flip vv soon.
read Pilgrim's iso and I see why people think they are scum, they seem very defensive and some of their post come out as lamist

Hands down the best vote on the wagon. Meat to dig into regardless of how Pilgrim flips, if ever, makes some statements that can be interrogated later, and makes a claim to like the voters on the wagon.
This is a town vote. Like regardless of Pilgrims alignment this vote come from a townie.

Third naked vote, lazy, town probs. This vote doesn't push the Pilgrim wagon past any existing wagon. It does create distance between 6 and 4 as opposed to 5 and 4 but nothing that I'd say is anti-town action.
