I have tried, but I just can't make sense out of it. If you were an investigative role that had information that cleared both Rihfok and Blazer maybe. The problem is however that that's extremely unlikely. The fact that you also proposed to take no action against Kony on day 2 makes it impossible that you knew that they were all probably innocent and thus felt the need to defend them.

Why has the pressure vote become an invalid method to dig for information when nobody is claiming anything? Your method is stopping a method that has been proven to work without offering an alternative besides waiting for claims. I'm sure the mafia is very happy with your approach. They don't have to say anything in their defense until the investigative roles spill everything they got. That is if they don't die without ever revealing their information. Not even in their last will, because of the likely dirty sleuth.

Your argument that the mafia would just jump on a pressure vote to turn it into a lynch doesn't really apply to FM, where days are much longer. A single mafia player might try it if it's worth the risk, but piling mass mafia votes on a pressure vote from L-5? It just doesn't happen unless the mafia have a day chat and/or discussed the pile strategy in night chat when they have the game in the bag. Obviously, it's far too early for either mafia team to have the game in the bag. So both mafia teams would have to be total idiots to jump on a train and cast the last 5 votes together to complete a lynch. L-3 is perfectly safe, but it definitely adds pressure.

On the subject of Grim with my code, I feel almost as if he's trolling me. That is half the code, yes, but he neglected to explain the other half. I would not make a code so half baked as that. I implore him to post the LINK I gave him that explains the code more fully.

With the kill pointed out, it makes no sense to me why Preservers wouldn't kill, as they have a Godfather. I can understand if the Vestfolds needed all their night actions in lieu of a kill, but with 99% certainty, I can say that the Preserver's kill was prevented in some way by outside factors, not that they simply decided not to kill. They have nothing to lose by killing. Thus, the witch hunt begins.

On the subject of suspicion, I'm not gonna lie when I say that Nick has caught my eye. And not in a good way. Fragos and Goremancer has not escaped my sight either. Will my chainsaw be seeking someone's throat tonight...?

I would consider night killing you if I were mafia, as unprotected town PR or opposing mafia. Probably not as fruitful as killing Ubernox, though. Mopin, in his last will includes a similar construction "Would like to make connections with the mafia." again, dropping the subject "I" of the sentence.

The other journalist, likely to be town journalist would then have edited Day 1, Article 2 and Day 2, Article 1. This is supported by other similarities in syntax and diction between the two journalist comments. Based on statistical analysis of the journalist text referenced to this forum mafia's posts, I have been able to narrow down a list of potential town journalists who have writing styles that match the sample. Based on this, I am able to make a few guesses as to who this journalist has interviewed for articles on nights 2 and 3.

Clementine wasn´t on my radar until Dust stated she was a citizen wifoming pr or a pr wifoming cit. Since Dust is on my scum list i think he tried to establish her as town because she is his team mate.

Dust is very neutral his contributions are basic stuff like general questions, how to take notes. He would normaly try to lead the town at this point but he doesnt. Therefore he is scum. His ego wouldnt allow somebody else to take that position if he would be town. Definelty scum!

There's not much of a point in trying to lead because hardly anyone is listening. The majority of players is trolling or saying "u just can't read me," without even trying to explain their strange behaviour and the shady people are all rallying behind Phyr for cover and trying to steer the trains without real arguments, even though Phyr himself isn't proven town. His decision to let Blazer off the hook because he shared some of his opinions struck me as strange, to say the least. Because Blazer has only given troll answers to any questions that could give any indication of his disposition towards other players. He also isn't willing to give an idea that he's aware of any hints left in anyone's posts, WIFOM or not. He just says "I dunno."

Blazer isn't the most useless troll, but to say that the little bits he shared are sufficient is going too easy on him.

Some people (Rihfok, Nick, Phyr) seem too eager to move the vote away from Blazer. I have distrusted Goremancer since the beginning, but there are people who are far more scummy than he is.

Lynch Blazer unless he REALLY starts cooperating.

Other pressure-worthy players are Rihfok and Ubernox.

This was an attempt to lead, but I doubt it will do much good. Because scum will use Phyr's tally to pick worse targets. How handy that the mafia teams could manipulate that tally by piling 2/3rds of their votes on players who aren't on their own team, without being too obvious.

My guess is that half of the votes on myself are mafia votes. The same might be true for Goremancer. The players who have 5-6 votes deserve some scrutiny.

It would be a waste of people's night abilities to check me tonight, so please do not feel like you need to. (Although this declaration on my part is probably raising some red flags... please don't waste time checking me anyway >.> ) It really hurts my feelings that you guys don't believe me!! I don't know what more there is to do to prove my innocence. CmG, I promise you I am town. Dust is probably trying to buddy with me or whatever term you are so fond of using. I was interviewed Day 1, Article 2, and tried to convince whichever journalist that I was consig instead of investigator because I really wanted to know if there was a corrupt journalist in the setting, and I wanted to possibly try to get him to out himself to me. I am new to forum mafia and just scribbled down a few codes I made up, that is why they are not particularly subtle or anything. Now that I think about it, a huge block of numbers would look really suspicious and people would most likely start asking questions. I didn't think much of it at the time... If mopin was corrupt journalist and interviewed me, idk, I would think that he would take the chance to out himself just to try to establish connections with the mafia. Whoever is regular journalist can silently confirm this. Digression:Oh, also to answer one of nick's earlier points, I matched up journalist articles based on sentence structure, not journalist comment length. Commentary length is perhaps the easiest thing to change, but people are not likely to change their stentence structure unless they are consciously thinking about it.

This is why I voted Blazer. He is one of the roles I listed, or he was framed. In either case we have new info: Masons can recruit him tonight, or we can confirm the presence of a framer. I was trying to be subtle about this earlier, but it seemed like nobody was listening, so I tried to be more and more obvious, which I guess was suspicious to some people. This is honestly so distressing to me. I can't believe Dust would pressure me to reveal my role. That is honestly the rudest thing I have ever dealt with. I don't like people in sc2 mafia who call for role calls either unless they are jailor or it's near the end of the game. This is ridiculous and hopefully will prove my innocence and cast Dust under suspicion, because honestly WHY would he want to out me. WHY. I think that's the biggest question here. I dont' understand him, but maybe some of you guys who have played with him longer have some metagame reasoning behind what he is doing. Does he know my role? There's a very clear distinction between modkills and replacement requests, CmG.

The only replacement request I've ever had was BBMolla. He asked to be replaced because he didn't have enough time to play a role like the godfather. I wonder if something similar happened here.

Still, clementine's claim didn't come across as convincing. It seemed more like a request to be recruited. Clementine might be the journalist, who knows that the real consig/invest won't counterclaim.

What I'm saying is that mafia members rarely get modkilled by the host, but replacement requests from mafia members are more common compared to other roles.

Your argument that "checking modkilled players isn't useful because modkills are usually citizens" doesn't fly for replacement requests. Checking replaced players does make sense.
