People lagging Immensely at the end of a match?

This is a new trend I've noticed. As soon as a match ends (right around when the points show up) 1-2 people will lag a full 60 seconds. I've never noticed this before while playing, and not in any other games either.

I usually do the same too TBH. Just a little strange.

its not people lagging, those people have already left the game, only blizzard not knowing what to do with them. all in all, to get out of the screen just hit ESC on your keyboard and the menu comes up, you've already been awarded your points at that point, its safe to just leave game.

Ah good, they reward you as soon as the Points box itself shows up right?

Because I see people leave right before then (just after the screen flashes white) and I don't think they earn points. Is that true?

if you see ID name/name and a +/- point value, then yes, it is safe to leave after that point. any time before you see that, you wont get any points.

Yup, I just finished a game now to confirm and Red left moments before the +/- box showed up and wasn't awarded anything. It'd suck if you lagged out right then though.
