I hope you now realize the error in fucking with me. I am so good that I can out the reds, and defeat your mafia before theirs without even knowing your identities AFTER I am dead. Also, just because someone vests the night you attack them, doesn't mean they are cult leader, but it does mean they are intelligent.

I have a question about Noelle the Ghost. My assumption was that her target (the one who killed her) was decided... well, obviously after she died - so I'm assuming it's not a pre-arranged thing like an Executioner.

In the very likely event that Noelle survives until the end, does she succeed? She doesn't have a killer and it doesn't say anything about that in the role card.

I think it's hilarious if she fails because of that; I was even attributing some of her rudeness and aggressiveness to the fact that she wanted to be targeted by the Mafia.

For the record glen, I did try to survive. I had thought that was my best chances, as I didn't know what else I could claim. If I had tried to claim that the escort was lying, I would have gotten lynched cuz he got masoned, not that I knew that. Armorsmith was claimed, vigil can day shoot me, I had no evidence of being a jailor, claiming a neutral probably wasn't gonna allow me to live.

Also, why the hell is yuffie/grave robber able to steal jailor? That is kinda OP......

I have left a gift for all dead people in orange mafia chat.

Well, why not? SK isn't a strong killer regardless of the bonuses he gets in this forum mafia. He gets 6 kills every 5 turns, only two of them have any immunity piercings etc. And he does kill them, why wouldn't he take their souls while hes at it?

Not really, arsonist and spree killer were twice as good as these sk settings as spree killer can kill multiple people at night, and should at least get one a night (Last spree killer failed so hard compared to what he should have realistictly done), and arsonist could either kill once a day piercing healing and night time vests, or kill them off in batches piercing healing and night time vests, finally being roleblocked doesn't stop you from detonating, nor is it even an indicator of whether or not your evil. 6 kills over 5 nights is hardly "OP" not even close really.

The only weakness the SK in this game had was being roleblocked. Being uncultable, unkillable, undetectable with the ability to pierce any form of protection twice every 5 nights?

I mean yeah, the arsonist from FMIV was better, but that's because the FM IV Arsonist was op as fucking balls, and the FMV one was only slightly less so due to the fact that they were not immune to death at night.
And the spree killer has MAJOR drawbacks so you can't even argue on that front.

So saying the SK in this game is borderline op is still correct, because the only thing you're comparing it to is something that IS Op.

I did not mean to compare to forum mafia 4, only forum mafia 5. Regardless, killing neutrals should be a bit stronger in forum mafia to stand a good chance against larger enemy groups. I do not see the slight advantages the killing neutrals had in forum mafia 5 to be OP. The chance spree killer would get a good spree is pretty small in forum mafia, but I believe the mere chance of getting multiple kills brings the spree killer up to the level he needs to be in forum mafia.

True, but he also could not die at night, there was no way to prevent him from detonating. Unless a jailor could kill it, I don't remember. Were there jailors in forum mafia 4? At least in forum mafia 5, a vigil could day shoot him before he detonated if his auto vest got destroyed.

Re: "Day VI: 7th Heaven" Discussion Thread

The arsonist might be denied the burn if a mayor or someone quickly hammered them while they were trying to defend. Only likely late in the game when the mayor can hammer very quickly.

In any case, I don't think day burn is that overpowered as long as the neutral killer can't be culted. A powerful neutral killer in the cult is bad news for the game. I mean if the arsonist lives 5 rounds and has somehow doused people who are still alive they deserve to get some kills. Being able to stop all that kpn with a lynch does add a lot of tension to the game of course.

Not really, it would be fairly easy to burn as soon as the vote reachs a certain count. I suppose it is techically possible, but I just don't see it as that likely. A vigil shot would be sudden and unpredictable.

I was the jailor in FM V, and I assure you that I never would have the skill to find and execute the arsonist before he burned (nor would I even be given the opportunity since lynching is pretty much a guarantee in good towns).

Well Consort wasn't a hidden role, it was revealed from the start.

I suppose I was quick to suggest that it was much more likely to have an Escort rather than another Consort, but honestly I think I wrote much scummier tells than this ^^ I don't see anything wrong with suggesting the remote possibility that Riley might have claimed being blocked to avoid looking like a member of the Orange Mafia.
