The game has Ended with a Mafia & Turncoat win.
The reasons are as followed:
-The mafia had confirmed the identity and role of the Turncoat, and would have sent a message using the Corrupt Journalist ability to inform the Turncoat
-Theodore Roosevelt has managed to win the election, by being voted by the Mafia and themselves.
-At July 13th, 2018 08:41 AM, I received a PM activating the Day Shot if the Bruiser killing Bill Clinton
Unfortunately, due to the amount of pm's I had been receiving I missed it until late. Had I of been more observant I would of publicly announced the killing at the time
With Bill Clinton dead, It would of left 4 town vs 3 mafia+ 1 neutral.
This would mean, that the votes would of been stalemate, with the mafia not being lynched, followed by the Roosevelt winning the election and slowly killing/lynching off the rest of the town.
If I had let the game continue with Bill dead and Reagan dying of the lynch , it wouldn't of been any forum mafia play. Just whichever side can log on and vote first.
The setup, after reviewing the game, did favour the scum and does need improving. I also made a mistake with the type of lynch. (It was originally supposed to be EoD votes, not hammer)
-Neutral roles still had self voting ability from the previous versions
-Town could of used an extra player to boost their balance.
-Day abilities need to be clarified, and their interactions with other abilities clarified.
-Turncoats dead ability was OP, needs to be nerfed for smaller games.
The idea behind the game, was that Town had confirmable roles. (Bodydouble comfirms someone if they protects them, Assassin comfirms someone if they kill scum during day)
And that mafia/town had opposing roles. (People would assume Consort over Escort, Journalist over Corrupt Journalist)
Also, both sides had the ability to rid the game of a president easily.
It wasn't just the setup that influenced the towns loss, mistakes where made and hopefully, we can learn from them.
A TPR claimed Survivor which resulted in them becoming president, which in turn ended with them being lynched & turncoat being scum sided, revealed and knowing in their goal.
Town TPR made early game roleclaims, this gave scum the immediate upper hand.
An Assassin revealed their role, and also shot at night. Personally, if you reveal as Assassin, its a good idea to use it as a second lynch. Unfortunately the kill they made hit town.
Some players lurked, despite their gut feeling being correct on scum, without their active play town where a human short when they needed them most.
Town did start to make a comeback at the end of the game, but it was to late.
