Not exactly what I was expecting. Depending on what happens RL I might not be too present over the new few days due to RL concerns, so I'll put most of what I got in this one post.
That lack of reads was more from a lack of presence. If you noticed for the duration of Sunday I was absent, a thing for me; real life concerns.
During the day I gave my reads on Mike and on Blink. Mike I have a very strong suspicion of, albeit, not one I was willing to shoot him over on night one. (I was in fact planning not to shoot due to a lack of info fyi). His constant contributions of nothing, buddying up to the bodyguard and admitting he wanted to be protected at night thinking I would shoot him, (Look at his post regarding how terrible it would be to mislynch day one. He literally added two town dying because I somehow died to the bodyguard, a -very- specific idea).
I then told Blink that I townread him, mostly due to the same buddying in question, as I stated during the day I find that scum tend to buddy themselves with townfolk rather than with fellow scum. Also, blink's presence in the daychat was aggressive, and accusatory to a Vigilante of all people. He wasn't the escort, wasn't the bus driver, wasn't the survivalist, and wasn't the veteran. He was a protective role, which if anything just increased the danger to him as it meant one less role that could defend him since he can't defend himself. His lack of fear of death either meant he is on a team with Gerik and felt safe, or is a town member, and is less attached to his life, (I find scum are more attached to their lives than town members are).
In fact, people that labelled me as scummy, yet not as their priority, I find to be the most town. Not for any self defense, but because it meant they weren't too scared of me shooting them at night. Other than the four roles I mentioned before, a vigilante is a clear threat, especially one waving around his gun like I was. Yet these people either didn't care enough for their own lives or believed themselves to be putting off such a town-aligned demeanor that they thought they would be townread by people.
The end of day debate between Slaol and Gerik was one I found myself more leaning towards Slaol as being scum on. He seemed to be flailing when votes started to pile onto him, and when they started to shift he was suddenly much more calm again. Admittedly more novice town players would go through that, but not more "elite" ones. Rather, I see "elite" scum players tend to flail more often than not when they are likely to be lynched. Also I was quite confused at his apparent "gambit" with MM to try and bait scum, and I see it more as an excuse by an "elite" player to get away from something that makes them look scummy. Gerik did appear to be underperforming early however, and it did seem to change upon some votes and accusations going out against him. The whole situation could be a bussing scum scenario, or a TvT scenario, but I'm placing my money down that one of them is scum. As I said leaning towards it being Slaol, merely due to fear of his role and the damage it could cause. I for one wouldn't want to shoot Mike just for it to hit naz.
Yayap I'm not gonna lie I don't have much of a read on. His posts come across as too neutral and just wanking himself off by bragging about his reading skills and shitting on everyone else's. Not important, but irritating to say the least.
naz seems to be active lurking. Posting a few random posts that offer pretty much nothing. Banshis is much the same but to a greater extent. Creed also, not really offering much. There's probably at least one scum in there, but I couldn't for the life of me tell you which.
Damus seems to be quite passive... unwilling to throw his weight around with his extra vote. Sure it's not as dangerous as a bullet from me, but a second vote is still quite an important thing. The passiveness is perhaps sign of scum? Too little to understand. I feel he participated in the Gerik v Slaol debate a bit too neutrally, not really giving any solid support to either side but still staying a part of the whole debate. I reckon that if Gerik v Slaol does turn out to be a TvT, then Damus is scum.
MM I got a bit suspect of for his town read on me. As I said before Mafia tend to be more attached to their lives than town, and he was one of the two people I threatened during the day. I felt he was trying to play it off cool, but I can't be sure. Not a strong read on him.
Stealth I have am wishy-washy on. On one hand, he did scum-read me and seemed to not be too concerned with lynching me though. On the other hand, he's a veteran, so of course he wouldn't be threatened by me... he'd kill me, not the other way around. Still, he did seem to be pushing hard on me by discrediting my threats, stating I made so many they didn't hold any meaning, even though there were only two, (Yeah, two. And people go on saying that my threats have no meaning because I threaten so many people. Yeah sure, two people... only one of which I grill throughout the day, is totally going to divide my attentions.) I felt he was trying to make a push to perhaps help his friend, and was merely making accusations to test the waters around pressure on me before devoting himself to it. On the other hand, he did make a (half-assed) attempt at putting pressure on Mike, the person I was most threatening.
And then you. To be honest, your posts were widely forgettable. Of course I question you choice in choosing me. You stated during the day your likely targets, and chose someone that wasn't among them. The vigilante at that. Perhaps you just wanted to make sure I didn't shoot N1? Well I can assure you that I hadn't intended to. Still, you likely considered this was your only shot at getting someone jailed, so I feel you picked someone that held meaning of some sort. I'm curious as to what that is... so why did you choose me exactly? Or was it only to get reads?
