First, my view is that homosexuality is an abnormal condition. And I don't carry any hatred or disrespect whatsoever do those who are LGBT. I understand that the term mental illness may carry weight but I don't mean it in an insulting way. What I mean by not giving support is that we shouldn't do something encourage LGBT, some may misunderstand me there. Hey, The APA hasn't even recognized homosexuality as even something to be psychiatriclly treated [much less a mental illness](since the 1980's I believe?)

If you are going to make a claim calling it an mental illness, you are expected to back it up with evidence and show a chain of logic proving why it is.
