They could easily choose something like the Innocent Child and make us feel secure, feeding off our paranoia while we hunt the mafia so that they can control the night kills.
The last mafia kill is not cleaned..? As far as I’m aware (and noticed) the mafia kills are always cleaned. That being said, we would never know if the Mafia killed a member of their own since it would definitely be cleaned, making us think there’s mafia still (And refers back to my previous point of feeding off our paranoia).
All in all, we should just play it as normal. But we should be wary of the Mafia claiming their real role and using the Illuminati as an excuse to not get lynched (This was actually tried near the end on the second game I played on setup A, it didn’t end well for them xD).
Yea essentially. It would be interesting to see the Mafia hard-claim day two if they had their kill redirected. If they did though, I would still be wary considering they could easily be lying as an excuse to not have to be townie. If that situation arises, I think it’s probably a good idea to have our power roles keep them under wrap. Also if that happens, make sure whoever is the godfather tells us exactly who they are, so we can try to keep their night kills under wrap (Like if PTB Wasn’t lying about being an escort).
What do you think Magoroth?
