MM feels different from the couple games I’ve played with him when he was town :/ I think SSE&Kenny is WvT tho cuz I recall literally last game Kenny was acting basically the same tunneled way as a TPR, I think he’d just constantly drill someone he thinks is scum like what he’s doing now

I've taken a step back to read and see what was going on... and I realized that the argument between our archon and Kenny is really looking like TvT. We both go full attack on eachother, and disagree on a theory aspect (3 players or one in the archon), which made us jump even more.
I thought he was the one who resorted to AtE first; apparently, it wasn't the case, after reading the thread... Therefore, I do not want to lynch Kenny anymore, and am even putting him in my townreads.

HOWEVER, this granted me a nice lead. We have Stealthbomber, who has been feeding the fire with these posts:

In the end though you should still both be projecting town. Even if one of you is scummy that still brings all of you down. A positive number multiplied by a negative number is still a negative number, and a towny personality multiplied by a scummy personality is still a scummy personality. At the end of the day you all should be giving off a town vibe and if one of you isn’t that means that you all could likely be non-town. We have to assume that even if one of you seem scummy that you all have to be scum.


You have to understand that as an archon you are ONE SLOT. This means you get ONE READ regardless of whether you have 2 players or 6. Because all of you get the same role and alignment you do not and will not be read differently because that is just inherently how reads work. You are the same slot.

Take the time to make your reads cohesive outside of the game because you will not be given slack of one of you are scummy. And I can say that from personal experience because I literally archoned last game.

Honestly, regarding blink we've just had this in Timmy Town with naz. Naz got called out early on as scum, complained about that read and did not know how to respond, threatened to quit because of that. Naz actually was scum there.
There's no way I'd somehow stop scumreading after a reaction like this. It's not a valid response to my argument, especially not a towny one.

So this post was on page 3. I want to ask you two questions.
1. Would it not be scumpainty to call them scum for not having communicated about their thoughts on this one specific thing 130 posts into the game?
2. If most of the problems with SSE's posts were between you and me, then why would I be trying to control the damage, when in my eyes, I have been causing the danger?

I don't understand how you believe my behavior has been passive, particularly noting my interactions with yagami. If you had said reserved I may have agreed but not passive.

1. So you're saying you abstained from calling them out because you have been worried about that appearing scumpainty? Again, imo, if you worry about appearing scummy you are scum. Town knows they are town, you wouldn't intentionally try to be not transparent as town. Postcount is also irrelevant anyway, you can easily pull back if they do end up posting what you wanted to see.

2. You have not been causing the danger. Statements like "take your time" etc, which you included in your posts made me think you'd be trying to push the argument into a TvT narrative, while still keeping yourself out of it. What exactly made you think you'd be causing the danger? I can totally imagine I just misunderstood your posts in that regard honestly, but you'd then have to restate and explain your intents.

I compared with naz and aamirus because they applied the same strategies. It really doesn't matter who did it, I only looked at the strategy and I have only seen scum apply those strategies so far.

We don't necessarily have to lynch Day One, but I don't see the value in skipping it. Skipping would also put town at a disadvantage, as we need as much information as possible to weed out them scummy bastards.

About light - stealth team, I don't think so. Stealth has been hitting and throwing ridicule (Is that English? lol) at Light in a way a scum buddy wouldn't. It's totally possible that they both are scum, but not from the same alignment, though.

The thing is that I'm not only MM, I'm an archon made of three players, and one of these players has a completely different playstyle... which makes it a bit confusing lol. But uh, do I feel like in the Pulp Fiction game, where we were scummates? ^^

The last part is probably right, but the first one is weird. Not being WvW means that it's either TvT or TvW. (town v town, town v wolf (aka mafia), for you beginners). You explicitely state that it's potentially WvT. Although that is not false, it's strange, as if you wanted to narrow attention pool right away, à la Scv-Blink combo from the Smiths game.

I also really like Otaks eagerness to share a reads list this early in the game. I find scum players tend to struggle with early reads lists and very rarely post any. I find him very towny.
