Some godly plays in that video, or not so much. Depends on which side you're on lol. What do you guys play the most in HotS btw?
I think NordVPN is extraordinary and works well.
there is no need to main a hero in hots except Olaf
Olaf is actually the strongest hero ingame far stronger than even murky or twinblade varian
just throw Olaf into a lane and after a few seconds the wave would be cleared and olaf gets a massive hp regen boost
Jokes aside there is really no real tactical need to main a hero its ok to personally main someone because whatever reason it might give a advantage too but once they ban that hero in unranked/ranked youre done for so just try to play as many heroes as possible
whatever though games are supposed to be fun and not winning so no need to brag about it
i actually personally main The Lost Vikings (long story where i took a troll too far) and Murky (because i realized his rework made him op af 6404 hp on level 20 and neverending slimes)
my role is mostly as a Warrior(all kinds) but i can do every other role aswell

There is a tactical need to main a hero, because you definetly have strenghts and weaknesses. I'm the best at tank/bruiser/assassin. I think you're best at laners. If your team knows that, you will be able to play your best heroes more than if you don't know what your main is.
Everybody is equally weak on the inside, just that some present their ruins as new castles and become kings –

Situational picks (Map, team comp, enemy comp, meta) are FAAAAAAAAAR more important than mains. If you ban Tyrael, it'll just be a wasted ban because he doesn't fill greatly in most comps. He shines extremely well in some with squishy or not particalarly tanky divers and a healer (e.g. Ragnaros with Q build who relies on self-sustain, Li Ming with E build, along with a burst healer like Stukov).
So if you ban Tyrael and Johanna, let's say, because you saw no tank picks and you know (by some dark magic because you don't see enemy names anymore) that I'm against you, I'll probably just pick ETC or Stitches, maybe even Chen if enemy comp doesn't counter him (channel interrupt). Stitches and especially ETC are ban-worthy for reasons I won't start explaining here because I don't feel like writing a bigger novel :P but long short story is: mains aren't that important, but they help you coordinate with your team, especially when you're not a pro, in the literal meaning of the word "pro".
Real pros will have mastered EVERY SINGLE HERO that is not fresh new. They will still have a favourite hero, one with which they feel better and can do better with. In pro game teams, players even have a role specialization (you can see "zugrug" the warrior main on the bnet app, if you look at HotS).
Also, it is unsatisfying to argue with you on this because you seem to have ignored the game's theory in order to get in petty arguments....
HOTS is fun. i play tanks/supports. Havn't played HOTS ranked in a while but i was diamond in league of legends.
you probably misunderstood me and became angry at me for some bullshit reason
unless you hate me then thats a different case...
