Trying to bring back good ole Forum Mafia. While I understand there's a list of who's been wanting to host, since..... FOREVER... Half of you are people I've never heard of ( what is a Cryptonic? ) The Forum Mafia Staff are looking to host a large game sooner rather than later. If you're on the list, you have priority to host, however you must personally message myself or any Forum Mafia Staff member. Should we not receive a response within the next two weeks, we will take is as you hate us and you have better things to do with your time at the moment! As long as I'm around, the people on this list will have priority to host.

I realize this might be an unpopular opinion, but I'd be willing to rehost some previously run older FM games. It's a shame that so much work was put into some of the setups that they'd only be used once. I also think it'd be interesting to use some of the setup meta from previous games to get a more complex play experience.

Of course, if there are people that want to host new setups, those should be run first.

Some of the older FMs were designed to have a far higher player count then the number of people who would likely sign up for future FMs, and rebalancing to accommodate the smaller playerbase might be difficult.

If people do want to redo an old FM however, my vote would be FM8.

I've seen many setups in the setup workshop that seem SUPER fun. Like, the one with rule breakers and rule followers... I love how there are different Mafias with strenghts and weaknesses. If there was to be a game to rehost, I'd say this one.

And maybe do more hidden setups? The funnest FM I've ever played is the "????" by Fleeting Thoughts/O5 Command and deathworlds. It was really super great good amazingly fun.

The smaller playerbase is not a problem imo. If we all do some FM propaganda on the mod, some players will be interested. I actually got a few people to read Helz's guide to FM, and some of them might have tried the game now. If we all do something to help the game, we can keep hosting FMs of larger dimensions.

I do not see the player base being a huge issue at the moment as I am somewhat confident I can slut it out and grab some fresh and as well some older meat.

And for Game of Thrones 6 sided mafia, I think I can help whore that one out as well. But that setup is pretty complex for new players. Just something to consider. (Though I freaking love it and have hosted it 3 times since Crypt hosted it)
