Day One

After 27 years with the cruel "Corvo The Black" as their Emperor, the plebeians are fed up with this situation. A resistance group has been formed to stop the Emperor's cruelty, secretly leaded by someone. In the palace, after so many years of just giving orders the Emperor decides to take care of this situation personally. He decides to leave the palace's security to find and execute the people who belong to the resistance group. However, after leaving with the Empress, a Royal Guard suddenly comes to him and explains that the Royal Assasin has dissapeared and that he will be with them for protection.

This is one of the posts I don't like, he calls Mesk out for not making an RVS, but I don't understand why he makes a Meta argument so early and doesn't explain why it's scummy.

This is a bad post but I've said this against Mesk before as scum, and, it's not unusual for her to not make RVS votes. So I don't like it.

Not gonna lie, I spent the best part of the day idly mulling over quick ways to turn the Neut into OP Town Vig, but I couldn't find any. Fucking Gyrlander actually making his setup hard to break for once xD

But since part of my thinking involved a Pleb Leader reveal, I'll go with that since I think that might be a good idea. We get a confirmed town to guide us and the Neut can't risk attacking them yet because the Empress can turn into a Lookout and watch them to see who the Neut is.

Also the Neut would want to take out the Emperor first anyway so they would be more focused on actually killing the scum.

I haven't properly thought through what the drawbacks of the Pleb Leader being revealed would be so there's that to keep in mind.

Oh shit, didn't notice the 'can't be healed' part. Never mind that then.

Given the pace of the game, I think that the Neut would be more focused on finding the role that it needs dead since it's basically an Executioner. If they kill the wrong scummers before the Emperor then their wincon becomes ten times harder.

I think Royal Guard is the scum's strongest role actually. TPR-hunter/ Neut-killer seems pretty powerful to me.

Again, why would the assassin go with town, they're gonna go with the one they feel is most likely to be Emperor or Pleb leader.

One of the roles they need to kill is scum. Town, collectively, has a better-than-chance guess at who scum are. If we vote on who is scum, we are giving them a good guess as to who one of their targets is while offering them protection from being lynched. Further, going after scum, he might kill that one role who can day-kill him.

Emperor hunting is just leaps and bounds smarter than leader hunting.

If I recall correctly, the Emperor's the lynch-proof dude, right? It's incredibly unlikely that the Neut will turn into a literal Serial Killer unless we fuck up and mislynch the Pleb Leader.

For this reason, we should always get a claim from people that we're lynching. No quick-hammering unclaimed players/ switching onto someone AFK at EOD or any of that shit.

And yes, MZ is right that the Neut is going to have a hard time finding the Pleb Leader unless they reveal. That's why hitting the Emperor first and giving town leeway to lose their confirmed role is WAY better.
