I think DarkCore looks better than Sozialize. Red&Grey rocks.

I liked the old colour scheme tbh. This one is a bit hard to look at and a little depressing, but that's just me. More light elements, less contrast, would work wonders.
Changing color scheme is out of the question sadly, oh well.

Mechanical has my preference. It's easy on the eye while the various features remain clearly visible. The hard red text in DarkCore bothers me, and the dull gray background of socialize has too little contrast, which makes everything too vague.

If the Socialize look could be modified so that the dull gray background is made darker to add more contrast, I'd opt for that instead.

I'd go with darkcore. Mechanical is too bland although I do like their interface at the bottom of the forum a bit more.

Basically Top of DarkCore>Top of Mechanical and Bottom of Mechanical>Bottom of DarkCore

When I click into the forums themselves, I find DarkCore to be significantly better. Important buttons like "post new thread" actually stand out like they're supposed to and Stickied threads are easier to differentiate from the rest of the crowd. The Posting layout is also a LOT better from DarkCore with buttons being more easily visible and easier to use.

Overall DarkCore is a much better choice regardless. What would make it better is if you could make the bottom of the homepage of DarkCore look more like the bottom of Mechanical

You wouldn't recognize the old theme if I enabled it, anyway.

The reason I switched themes is because I updated the forum software. Updating fixes security flaws, improved functionality, etc. but it also required some other things like updating the theme. This invalidated the custom styles and images I had manually set, meaning that the forum would have looked completely different (and worse) had I kept the old theme. Thus, I figured I would change the theme altogether.
