Another interesting thing about medieval swordsman.
They never dual wielded. Ever.
Dual wielding was mostly for show, not for actual fighting.
No army in history had soldiers/warriors who actually dual wielded swords. You would have those who would carry two swords with them, but only use one at a time.
Don't pet growlithe, he will bite you.
Conceivably dent it. Make weak areas. Break it. As you can see in the video his pommel jabs cause the steel reinforced tire to cave in. Without rubber morphing it back out it should stay caved in I'd imagine
Two answers to that:
- Go for the gaps / weak points. There's no such thing as a piece of steel armor without gaps: even with full plate armor, go for the visor, armpits, elbow, seat area, etc. Also, if anything less than full plate armor, there will be significantly more places that can be struck easily. There's no such thing as steel armor without weak points.
- You don't need to piece the armor to do damage. If you hit someone in the head / helmet hard enough with a pommel strike, it's going to disorient them so that they either lose their balance or fall over. We're talking about a heavy sword bashed against a heavy duty helmet -- there's going to be a lot of force going on. Once the person is stunned, that makes it easier to go for the gaps / weak points in #1, or disarm them.
this is implying the other person doesn't have a means to defend themselves. Obviously if you know your only vulnerable point is your head, you're going to be wary of wild strikes to that area and defend yourself accordingly with your sword or whatever weapon you're carrying.
