SSDs are awesome. I used to think that I wouldn't need one but holy fuck I can never live without one now. I have a 256GB from Samsung, the 840 EVO. Awesome thing.

My steam library uses 1tb. More ram cuz more hard drive space and hosting servers, among other things.

No SSD because they're overpriced.

I run Windows off of my SDD, and I use my 1TB Sata for everything else.

Windows comes up in 7 seconds after I turn the computer on. Is good!

Okay fine I added a 128 gig Corsair ssd for Windows and arma 3. Was going to use a ram disk for it too.

If I may suggest something, it'd be taking a Samsung SSD. I may be a bit biased but it has served me so well, no failures and they are said to be durable in general. Corsair is well known too, but I feel like Samsung is always a safe bet.

Oops keeps saying I need a memory controller, but PCPartPicker would tell me if I need it right? Under the compatibility issues?

Intel builds memory controllers into their CPUs since the i7 series so you should have that already. I don't think you need something additionally.
