1. Reveal freelancer to mafia visitor once the action successfully negated.

When we talked about pubs, we are talking about us.
When they talked about pubs, they exclude themselves.
They say only bad players want to modify citizens, and they do not satisfy bad players.
Are we bad players? We include bad players, but that is just a part of us.

Yep, it doesn't neg all non-attacks, only the first one by OoO chain.

Not OP. Definitely weaker than Doctor. The good news is that Town roles need not be over powerful. Support is what the masses are about.

What about the backfire chance? such as an escort's report might be removed by freelance.

I like it already, I had it just last game that town lost because jailor couldnt act, since consort blocked him. With the Freelancer this problem would be solved. Aswell it would offer town a way to work against these things gf and dh have already the option to be immune to roleblock, but the only rb immune role in town is escort if the option for it is on. To the backfire im not completly sure what you mean, but if the freelancers target would get normally blocked from escort and the escort has a normal lw. It shouldnt be to hard to figure out that he is escort since freelancer get the feedback of its target when his ability prevented him succesful.
