Btw one of the advanced sotd setups seems a bit wrong, sometimes it says there are to many marshall/mayors in the setup.

the one and 2 stars can stay for now because i don't want to weed just about everything but for now the mass of outdated ones like those should be removed and/or revised to be up to date

Downvoting is closed in the public vote. Instead, the votes will be normalized so the average is 0. For example, if the average vote per setup is 4, then zero votes is a score of -2 and 12 votes is a score of +4.

Yeah, I guess a small pool of ignorance is better than a large pool of ignorance. The way these downvotes are being submitted, it still disincentivizes people submitting setups under the same name. Well, let's see how this turns out. I'm glad the public has a chance to vote.

Broken Government:

2 Auditors is the only reason this setup falls over. In a setup where you youself exclude the neutral killing as soon as it hits 14 players this setup is so rediculously swingy that I don't agree with it. It literally comes down to the first two nights (night 1 generally being RNG as fuck anyway) That cobbled together with the fact battle net hates citizens anyway just is more cause for them to complain.

Parliament:

Interesting concept, a fucking shit storm fuck fest in game. The times I've played it it's gone spastically long even with ballot, or its ended up with a massive leave train.

I like how your setups shift the game focus/meta and it's a good thing. These two just don't fly with me.

I always found aldaris, xentios, and rlvg saves were the best SOTDs ever. Cannot even be compared to average saves by me or other people.
People downvoting all aldaris saves are just ignorant and static.

Well, the setup is carefully crafted as a balanced one which makes you be more sharp than "oh, i'm sherif - this guy is mafia" or "yep, i'm invest, citi not possible - its the godfather".
it makes you look voting patterns, and know where to stay at night so you can see visitors, everyone who are not noobs told me the save is pretty fun.

the issues with the sotd that there are alot of troll saves that are just not fun.

i suggest another thing (Dark.Rev - consider it).
at the end of the match, make people "-vote" and give 1 point to the current sotd save they are playing.
whatever save that is voted up, will be more common.

that's the democratic way to do it by voting what you actually play.

I don't think what you say is posibble in a global way. But you can do that for the current 15 players. Sotd give them the first 3-5 setups from the 15 players vote count.
