I think your renewed interest in the game after only recently saying you "want to see dead chat" says otherwise. The Vermaak know full well the risk of deliberately lynching a Cole's Conduit: as it is, the situation between the Vermaak and Cole's Conduits is actually much more even than you guys give credit for:
1) I am a useless Militia Member who only contributes a vote as opposed to kill power.
2) 2 Cole's Conduits are already exposed, whereas no Vermaak are out in the open
3) The Vermaak have a kidnapper who can effectively roleblock.

A rumble between the Vermaak and Cole's Conduits would only give an opening for the town to take the lead: that is what you are hoping will happen, but I won't see it on my watch.

You know, technically, Elspeth could've not only negated the existence of both janitors (with unlimited checks and 2 checks per night), but she also could've figured out who Glissa recruited on night 1 AND figured out if and who the priests recruited on their final nights. Conclusion: Coroner VERY OP
