Good Jester Strategy

I pretended to be an amnesiac and said I would change into the bg. They lynched me when they saw that amnesiac announces new roles to the town. Amne was impossible in that game anyway :P

I posted this strategy to the wiki but thought I should post a replay as well. Its worked 3 times out of 3 for me so I think its good. It was pretty funny as well

This isn't a novel concept. A jester claiming a different role is pretty standard. Although it seems like the most common strategy is to act like a moron and hope to get lynched. Which always fails because it is so obvious. My personal favorite is to claim SK when 2+ mafia, SK, and 1 town/neutral remains.

I once claimed I was doused when the option for victims knowing they were doused was off. They thought I was just a stupid Arsonist.

My biggest problem as a jester is just staying alive past N2. I always get taken out during either N1 or N2. Not sure if there are any tips for staying alive longer, lol.

Troll like hell. Be totally obvious. Good mafia and SK won't kill trolls. Start contributing to the game and making them think you're actually another role pretending to be jester to live at first; then make some noob mistakes. Cue late game lynch.
