Setup Thread

The setup is a semi-open setup that offers the mafia the choice between a low powered or high powered setup, depending on which options they choose.

Win Conditions
Town: Eliminate the scum.
Mafia: Outnumber or equal the town.

At the beginning of the game, all Phase One role cards are sent out, which are

2x Mafia Goon
1x Mafia One-Shot Bulletproof Traitor
9x Citizen

The mafia then have 24 hours to talk and select any of these three role modifications:

Make a Goon bulletproof
Make a Goon become a jack-of-all-trades (1-shot ninja and 1-shot strongman)
Change a Goon to a consigilere
Recruit the traitor as a Goon
Enable Daychat for the mafia team

Then the town is dealt 2+x of the following power roles at random to different Citizens, where x is the number of abilities the Mafia selected. No role is used twice.

The new role cards are sent out, then the game begins.

1. I am the Mod thy God. If a dispute arises, my decision is final. That said, I am not infallible - if I make a mistake or you have a question, please inform me of the problem (preferably via PM or green text) and I will correct it.

2. 48 hour Days, 24 hour Nights. The game will start at Day 1. Be prepared to talk.

3. No editing posts, PM quoting, PMing, all that jazz. I don't want to modkill players.

4. There are no jesters, cults, or anything that disrupts the core spirit of the game. Behavioral Analysis is Behavioral Analysis, and you'll have to hone your skills to succeed in this game.

5. Rolecalling early will not break the game. The setup will punish you if you try to mod or flavorgame it. I don't recommend it!

6. The only game discussion should take place in the observer chat, in the thread.

7. Respect your fellow players, and have fun. If you don't have fun, I will modkill you or replace you, and that would be bad, wouldn't it?

8. No invisible ink or cryptotext.

9. There will be no last wills for this game.
