How does Mayor lose 1v1 to Mafia?

1 doctor, 1 mayor, 1 mafia. Mafia kills doc, now it is daytime. Mayor can solo-lynch the freakin' mafia. But in the game the mayor LOSES? That's the most retarded logic ever. I hope this is a bug and not how it's intended.

It's the court system.

It's half the players, 0.5 counts as an extra 1.0
3 divide on 2 = 1.5 being 2 required to lynch.

Mayor exploits this very system, but once there's 1v1 the system fails.

it is intended. this game isn't about technical logic. it's fairer for mafia to win 1v1. also IRL logic, mafia would just shoot mayor in the head if it's 1v1...

Citizen as host options allows them to win 1v1 against a mafia if they survive.

There's an issue however that when a lynch occurs with both a town/mafia remaining, the game continues for another day.
That's where the citizen's vest goes to play.

Mafia would win on the court system with a single vote, major difference is that there's no other person to prevent him to shoot the Mayor.

The Citizen has a bulletproof vest and a shotgun.

The Mayor has an extra ballot ticket(tickets?).

Vest + Shotgun > Tuxedo + Glock > Paper Tickets
