Changing thread titles?

Is there any way to change the title of a thread?

I've tried double-clicking next to a thread title (that I made) while browsing the forum, and it seems to give me a little dialog box to edit the thread title, but after I type the new title and hit enter, it just goes back to the old title and displays a little loading circle next to it. It never actually does anything.

Moderators of that section, super mods, and admins have specific permission to change threads. I don't believe you can change them even in threads you started.

I use the same method to directly change thread titles.

That function only works as you'd expect it to if you're a mod/admin. Otherwise, it does what Lazers said.
