there were a few times we cut his claws, and he was very unhappy about it, pretty much pissed at me until they grew back

It doesn't say anywhere in the rules that it's against the rules to "spam" caps. If spamming caps is illegal, then spamming lowercase should also be illegal. It's not fair.
I followed every rule and made my point with caps.

Back on topic: Most of the cats I've had (I don't really like them now) didn't have a problem with claws. If your cat is very violent then it's good. But it's normal for cats and dogs to fuck shit up. If you don't like them ruining your things, why get a pet?

I currently have 5 cats, and all of them have been declawed. First, they are indoor cats, I'd never let purebreeds go outside.
Problem was, I have a dog. And whenever the females were pregnant they'd become REALLY aggresive, even more after they gave
birth to the kittens. My dog almost lost an eye once. So I didn't really have a choice there! But usually, my cats and dog love each other.

And yes, declawing can completely change a cat's character. The same thing happened to one of mines; now she just won't leave me alone.

Listen to high and mighty speaking about his purebreeds. I don't care what kind of animal. If you don't have the time to train it basic mannerisms, you're too busy to own an animal. They aren't just playthings, they're living things with their own thoughts, opinions, and wants.

High and mighty? I'm just giving my point of view. And It's not about basic mannerisms, It's for safety reasons.
Because you know, I don't have a male. So when I send my cat to another breeder's home, the cat has to be declawed. They
don't know about the cat's character and won't take any chance.

Try to cut a leg i bet it will change its character after that as well. Declawing is just a mean thing to do. The pet trusts you it's whole life and you just go and cripple it, because your couch looks better without the cuts.

I somewhat understand Azuriae's point though. But you know you always could reduce your animal farm in the first place so you wouldn't have to do drastic stuff to them.

I wouldn't call 5 cats a ''farm''.
When I was a kid, my parents had 45. That was a farm.

But either way. It's just not the same world for breeding cats and house cats. That's how it is~

And, like I said, The other breeder would not accept my cats if they were not unclawed. It's for security reasons, even with if you cut the claws It's still possible for a cat to claw an eye out. It's happened before, hence why he's not taking any chance.
