Re: S-FM Monster Hunter: Snowy Mountains

Drop a mafia, add a town, and remember.

They are Hidden Roles, not Random Roles.
    Balance away.

    7 (5 PR) Towns, 1 SK, 4 Mafia = 12 players

Fatalis, asume that 2 towns die N1

    5 Towns, 1 SK, 4 Mafia
OR if the SK is awesome and uses vest N1
    4 Towns, 1 SK, 4 Mafia

I would not like to be town.
You could also take a random mafia and add in some sort of neutral, since the Godfather can be a random role.

Did you notice that the Godfather can also have a mafia role?
Im not sure what to make out of this, I only played a game with a Godfather who also was a Framer, and I was Jester. So I can't gauge that very well.

Its probably just the typo, but I wanted to check.
Is the SK by himself, or did you just mess up?

Re: S-FM Monster Hunter: Snowy Mountains

Is the Godfather/Mafioso the only person who can go to kill?

Standard procedure in FM is that the mafia is able to vote at night who gets sent for the kill. So you wouldn't necessarily need a mafioso to kill at night. This isn't how it works in SC2 Mafia because of added mechanical complexity and lack of time at night.

Rules: If the godfather is dead, a random living mafia role will become a mafioso.
If anyone can be sent to perform the kill, this rule isn't necessary.

If you're keeping it like this anyway, does this mean that the hidden roles list doesn't REALLY include a mafioso? It'd be annoying as mafia if the GF died and you ended up with 2 mafiosi.

As for that neutral killer dilemma, I recommend making him hard to find for an investigator. It's really hard for a neutral killer to win if he has to win alone. It's bad enough if a sheriff can find him with 100% certainty.

Updated- Godfather/mafioso is the only person who can kill, this is to balance the extra advantage of having 3 other roles that can perform their ability instead of the usual 3 ( 2 use ability 1 go kill )
Neutral Killer will be the same pairing as citizen, Doctor will have the same pairing as consort/escort bg

Is there a limitation to the number of votes from a blackmailed target? You should realise that there's a lot of discussion time in FM. With unlimited votes, someone who is blackmailed can still communicate everything he knows as long as one player asks the right multiple choice questions.

No, there is not. Yes, he can answer multiple choice questions but he will have a really hard time if he is to tell his results/role or stuff
