It may be as many as 10-15k posts per day. I will get an update and get back to you on the exact start date.
I personally just keep notifications turned off.

I herd from the community that the first game is slated to start late this month. I am sure as it gets closer to its start time more details will become available.

If anyone is interested there will be a spectator chat in Skype for this game. It is a great place to meet new players and learn new strategies. It has over 120 members right now from forums all over the internet. Usually players enjoy analyzing the championship games as they go on. It can not stress enough how much you can learn from this chat if you are looking to grow as a player.
